Ahmad Najib bin Abdullah, dilahirkan pada 3 Mac 1966 di Kubang Kerian, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Mendapat pendidikan awal di Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Kubang Kerian ( 1973-1978). Beliau melanjutkan pengajian peringkat menengah di Ma’ahad Muhammadi Kota Bharu ( 1979-1985 ). Seterusnya beliau menyambung pengajian di Universiti Islam Madinah, Arab Saudi dan mendapat Ijazah Sarjana Muda Dakwah dan Usuluddin ( 1989 ), Sarjana Tafsir ( 1994), dan Ijazah Kedoktoran Ph.D Tafsir (1998 ). Sekembali ke tanahair, beliau berkhidmat di Ma’ahad Al-Dakwah Wa Al-Imamah sebelum diserap menjadi Kolej Islam Antarabangsa Sultan Ismail Petra ( KIAS ). Selain memegang jawatan pensyarah, beliau telah diberi kepercayaan menjadi Ketua Jabatan Dakwah dan Ketua Jabatan Usuluddin. Terakhir beliau dilantik menjawat jawatan Timbalan Ketua Eksekutif ( HEP ) KIAS. Pada 1 Januari 2008, beliau bertugas sebagai pensyarah kanan di Akademi Pengajian Islam, Universiti Malaya, cawangan Nilam Puri. Sepanjang perkhidmatan, beliau pernah dilantik menjadi Ahli Jamaah Tashih Tafsir JAKIM, Panel Pakar Aqidah JAKIM, Ahli Jawatankuasa Fatwa Negeri Perlis, Ahli Jama’ah Penulis Majalah PENGASUH, Ahli Jawatankuasa Buku Teks Yayasan Islam Kelantan ( YIK ) dan Ahli Jawatankuasa Penyelidikan dan Membasmi Ajaran Sesat (MAIK ). Di peringkat Universiti Malaya kampus Nilam Puri, beliau telah diberi amanah untuk menjawat beberapa jawatan pentadbiran seperti, Penyelaras Penyelidikan dan Pembangunan ( 2008-2011 ),Penyelaras Program Asasi ( 2011-2012), Timbalan Pengarah UM Nilam Puri ( 2013-2020) dan Penyelaras Penyelidikan dan Penerbitan UMEC, Bachok ( 2021-2024 ).
show more »Dr. Rozita Yusoff is currently the Deputy Director, University of Malaya Academic Strategic Planning Centre (ASP Centre) and Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Malaya. She obtained her first degree in Chemical Engineering from Technical University of Nova Scotia, Canada (1992). Both her Master degree (1996) and PhD Degree (2005) were obtained from UMIST, United Kingdom. She started working in University Malaya as a tutor in 1992, and then was appointed to lecturer in 1996 after completing her Master degree. She is an established academician who has more than 20 years teaching experience. Her research interest are mainly in the area of separation processes (microwave-assisted extraction of active ingredient from herbal plant, CO2 absorption by alkanolamines and ionic liquids), advanced material processing using microwave heating and cleaner production/technology. She has to-date published more than 60 papers in journals and conference proceedings both locally and internationally. Seven PhD and three Master students had completed their degrees under her supervision and currently she is supervising eight PhD students and two Master students. Dr Rozita is also involved in a number of consultancy projects, especially in the area of cleaner production. On the administrative matters, Dr Rozita was the department OBE/EAC/MQA coordinator from 2005 to 2011. She was involved in restructuring the Chemical Engineering Programme according to OBE approach. She was also responsible to conduct various workshops to the staff on the OBE systems and accreditation.
show more »Farhad Moradi received his BSc in Applied Physics from the University of Yazd in 2005 and his MSc in Medical Radiation Engineering from the Science and Research Branch of Azad University, Tehran, in 2011. He obtained his PhD in Physics from the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia, in 2018, with a research focus on radiation dosimeters. He has held several postdoctoral research fellowships at institutions including the University of Malaya (Malaysia), University of Isfahan (Iran), University of Campinas (Brazil), and Multimedia University (Malaysia). He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Imaging, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya and his research interests include radiation therapy, radiation dosimetry, radiation shielding, and Monte Carlo radiation transport simulations. He is also a member of Iran's National Elite Foundation.
