Dr. Ng Kok Haur is a Professor of Statistics at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (ISM) and the Deputy Head of ISM (Research), Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya. He also served as the Chairperson of the Centre of Research for Statistical Modelling and Methodology, Universiti Malaya. His research interests include volatility modelling and applications, modelling and analysis of high frequency data arising in financial economics, and statistical control charts. Dr. Ng actively publishes in peer-reviewed journals indexed by Web of Science, Scopus, and other reputable databases. Among those journals including The North American Journal of Economics and Finance, Journal of Empirical Finance, Studies in Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics, Finance Research Letters, International Review of Economics & Finance, Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, Economic Analysis and Policy, Communications in Statistics - Simulation and Computation, Expert Systems with Applications and European Journal of Industrial Engineering. He has also been awarded with several research grants, including the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme from the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. He is currently supervising Ph.D. and M.Sc. students in various areas of statistics, financial econometrics, finance, and economics. Apart from that, he serves as associate editors for journals such as the Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation (WoS SCIE-cited Q3), reviewers for various journals, a guest editor for a special issue of the Malaysian Journal of Science, External Advisors for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, thesis examiners, committee members for local and international conferences and invited and contributed speakers at conferences.

Dr. Noor Hayati Azami graduated from University of Malaya dental school in 2006 before serving the Ministry of Health for 1 year. She later joined the Faculty of Dentistry as a tutor in 2007 and subsequently pursued her specialist training in restorative dentistry in 2010. She received her Master in Clinical Dentistry in Restorative Dentistry from University Malaya in 2014 with special interest in endodontic. Currently, she is a clinical lecturer in the Department of Restorative Dentistry, University Malaya with a special interest in endodontics. She has headed the Endodontic module for undergraduate teaching from 2014 until 2020. She is currently the Postgraduate Endodontic Module Coordinator and a member of curriculum development for the preparation for the Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry in Restorative Dentistry and Endodontology programmes by University Malaya. Dr Hayati is also actively involved in various research and grant collaborations with National Sports Centre and CryoCord as well as within the industry. She is also an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England for the Restorative Specialty Membership Examination (RSME) since May 2021.    

Associate Professor Dr. Anis Salwa Mohd Khairuddin is currently affiliated at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya. She is also a Chartered Engineer registered under the Engineering Council, U.K. and a member of IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS). In addition, she serves as Malaysia Focal point for Sub-Committee on Microelectronics and Information Technology (SCMIT) in ASEAN COSTI (from year 2020 until current). The Committee on Science, Technology & Innovation (COSTI) is responsible for operationalizing and translating the APASTI strategic thrusts into specific actions.  As for administrative responsibilities, she was the Final year Project (FYP) Coordinator from 2015/2016 until 2019/2020. Consecutively, she was appointed as the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) coordinator since 2020/2021 until 2023/2024. Currently, she is the Head of Department for the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya. In addition, she serves as the Head of Centre of Intelligent Systems for Emerging Technology (CISET), Faculty of Engineering, UM. Her research expertise lies in pattern recognition area, focusing on the application of artificial intelligence by developing computationally intelligent algorithms for spatial and temporal signal processing.  She works on the application of machine learning methods to solve various pattern recognition problems in precision agriculture, smart manufacturing, and energy management.
