Advancing Dietetics | Public Health Nutrition | Bridging Research, Policy & PracticeWith 14+ years of experience spanning clinical dietetics, academia, and food services, I am a passionate advocate for evidence-based nutrition policies and sustainable public health solutions. Currently a Senior Lecturer in Social & Preventive Medicine at Universiti Malaya, my work centers on creating healthy, sustainable eating environments, improving food safety, and addressing adolescent and community nutrition—grounded in my PhD research and field practice.I proudly serve on the Malaysian Dietitians’ Association council and represent Malaysia in the International Affiliate of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (IAAND). DR. MOHAMMAD FIRDAUS BIN ABDUL AZIZ

Firdaus Aziz serves as a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Dean of Research and Innovation at the Faculty of Law, Universiti Malaya. His research interests encompass medical law, biosafety law, and the legal and ethical implications of emerging technologies, including stem cell technology, biobanking, and gene editing. He earned his BSc (Hons) in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Universiti Malaya and subsequently received the National Science Fellowship to pursue an MA in Biotechnological Law and Ethics at the University of Sheffield. He later completed a DPhil in Public Health at St Edmund Hall, University of Oxford, where he focused on stem cell law and ethics at the Centre for Health, Law and Emerging Technologies (HeLEX). Since 2016, he has been actively involved in promoting bioethics in the region as a UNESCO Bioethics Trainer. Additionally, he is a co-investigator for the Southeast Asian Bioethics Network, supported by the UK Wellcome Trust, with the aim to establishing a bioethics network in the region, and a co-investigator for the NIH Fogarty grant to develop a Master's program in Health Research Ethics at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya.

DR. NORA SAKINA BINTI MOHD NOOR

Dr. Nora Sakina Mohd Noor graduated from the University of Malaya dental school in 2007 before serving the Ministry of Health for 2 years. She later joined the Faculty of Dentistry as a trainee lecturer in 2009 and subsequently pursued her specialist training in restorative dentistry in 2010. She received her Master's in Clinical Dentistry in Restorative Dentistry from University of Malaya in 2014. Currently, she is a lecturer in the Department of Restorative Dentistry, University Malaya with a special interest in endodontics and dental education. Dr. Nora Sakina headed the postgraduate Endodontic module coordinator from Year 2014 to 2019 and currently heads the Endodontic module for undergraduate teaching and is the coordinator for the Master in Oral Sciences (Restorative Dentistry) program. She is also a member of curriculum development for the preparation for the new Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry in Restorative Dentistry and Endodontology programs by the University Malaya. She runs the undergraduate teaching in endodontics and contributes to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Operative and Endodontics. Dr Nora Sakina is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England for the Restorative Specialty Membership Examination (RSME) since May 2021 and is also currently involved in various research and grant collaborations with National Sports Centre, CryoCord, and artificial intelligence in dentistry together with EM²AI Pte Ltd, Singapore.
