Ts.Dr. Siti Hajar Halili is an Associate Professor at the Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. She is also a Professional Technologist (Ts) from the Malaysian Board of Technology (MBOT). Currently, she is the Head of the Department of Curriculum & Instructional Technology. She was formerly with the Research Division, Prime Minister Department, Malaysia. She holds a Degree in Information System Management from the University Technology MARA, a Master's in Educational Technology, and a Ph.D. in Adult Education Technology from the University Sains Malaysia. Her works are published in ISI, SCOPUS, Malaysian and International journals. She has also published books and chapters in books. She has received awards such as the Deans’ Award, Best of Presentation Award, Excellent Service Award, Gold Award, The Most Outstanding Reviewer, Appreciation Certificate from Jabatan Pendidikan Selangor, and scholarships from MyBrain15 and USM Fellowship. She has broad experience in teaching and training in Instructional Design & Technology. She was Chief Editor of Jurnal Penyelidikan Pendidikan, and article reviewer for several journals and conferences. She is also appointed as the university open distance learning (ODL) expert, Programme Coordinator for the university ODL and Master of Instructional Technology program, Head of Auditor for the faculty of education, and one of the committee members of the University Malaya Family Research & Development Center. She is active in research and publishes in Instructional Design & Technology, Innovative Digital Pedagogies (Flipped Learning, Open-Badges Learning, AI Learning & Digital Learning), Open Education and Digital Curriculum.

Professor Ramesh Singh has contributed immensely to the development and enhancement in science & technology in Malaysia, particularly in the field of ceramics engineering. Amongst his significant achievements include the development of an ageing resistant zirconia for steam environment, production of a novel nanostructured hydroxyapatite bioceramic derived from eggshells and bovine bones for orthopedic applications, and more recently is the tailoring of a novel electrical-conducive ceramic that is able to conduct electric current at room temperature without compromising on the mechanical properties. His work has attracted great interest from the industres locally and internationaly. He has provided solutions to industrial problems and have developed new materials/products that exhibits enhance performace and reliability. He has published more than 300 research articles in various ISI/WoS- and Scopus-listed publications and his research group has secured more than RM15 million of research funding for numerous projects relating to materials development, advanced manufacturing and machining. Prof. Ramesh has filed numerous patents for his inventions and received many accolades as a distinguished scholar. He was the recipient of the prestigious IEM Young Engineer Award, MTSF Science & Technology Award 2014 and won more than 55 awards at international/national exhibitions pertaining to his research and inventions. He was recognized as the top 12 "Malaysia Engineer Stars" by the Institution of Engineers Malaysia for his notable contribution in the field of engineering education and advancement in ceramics engineering in the country. Prof Ramesh is a Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council, UK, a Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia, a Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia and Fellow of five prominent professional societies. i.e. The Institution of Mechanical Engineers UK, Institution of Engineers Australia, Institution of Engineers Malaysia, Institute of Materials Malaysia and Malaysia Scientific Association. He is on the international Editorial Board of Ceramics International (a Web of Science, Tier 1, Elsevier Publication), the Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Mechanical and Materials Engineering (a Scopus-listed publication), Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Institute of Materials Malaysia and Journal of Industrial Technology. Besides research excellence, Prof. Ramesh is also a distinguished professor in mechanical and materials engineering in the country. He is serving in numerous capacities as external assessor, professional mentor, resource person, external examiner, advisor and engineering accrediation panel. He holds a joint appointment as an Associate Director with the Engineering Accreditation Departmment, Board of Engineers Malaysia for his notable contribution in upholding the standards and quality of engineering education in Malaysia.      

Mohd Anuar Ramli. He was born and raised in Kampong Air Putih, Junjong, Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia on 26th November 1976. The ninth children of almarhum Haji Ramli Ismail and almarhumah Hajah Sofiah Ariffin. Mohd Anuar received early education in Sekolah Kebangsaan Junjong (1982-1988), then continued secondary education in Sekolah Menengah Agama Tarbiyah Diniah, Kulim, Kedah (1989-1994), pre-university in Nilam Puri (1995-1997), subsequently earned his bachelor’s degree in Syariah (Fiqh & Usul) (1997-2000), master’s degree (2001-2004) and doctorate degree (2005-2010) in Universiti Malaya. He has been serving in Jabatan Fiqh & Usul (Department of Fiqh and Usul), Akademi Pengajian Islam (Academy of Islamic Studies) Universiti Malaya as a temporary lecturer since 2004 and now as a senior lecturer after finishing his doctorate study under Skim Latihan Akademik IPTA (SLAI) in 2010. Mohd Anuar’s areas of expertise are Fiqh of Culture, Fiqh of Gender, Fiqh of Consumerism and other related fields in Islamic studies. He has been teaching Introduction to Shariah, Fiqh of Culture, Fiqh of Consumerism, Fiqh of Worship (Ibadah), Maktabah Shariah and Research Methodology. He produced almost 40 postgraduate master’s and doctorate students and received numerous research grants from both internal university and external fund. Mohd Anuar has published almost 200 articles, chapters in books and conference papers in various categories either in the international or local level. The published writings cover diverse areas, such as custom and culture, gender, halal and consumerism, religious extremism and terrorism, contemporary fiqh and Malaysian society. He is always enthusiastic to serve as a versatile scholar that masters numerous fields and learns to explore new research area in Islamic studies framework. Mohd Anuar loves travelling to appreciate the beauty of panoramic nature and cultures of society as well as to enhance life experience and perseverance.
