DR. LAI CHIN TING

赖静婷,马来西亚霹雳州邦咯岛人,祖籍广东揭阳普宁。本科毕业于拉曼大学中文系,后获马来亚大学中文系硕士,北京大学古代文学博士。现于马来亚大学中文系任高级讲师。研究方向为中国古代文学,马来西亚华文文学和峇峇文学。 Dr. Lai Chin Ting is from Pangkor Island, Perak, Malaysia, and her ancestral home is Puning, Guangdong. She graduated from Tunku Abdul Rahman University with a bachelor's degree, a master's degree from the Universiti Malaya, and a doctorate in Chinese ancient literature from Peking University. She is currently a senior lecturer in the Department of Chinese Studies at the Universiti Malaya. Her research interests are ancient Chinese literature, Malaysian Chinese literature, and Baba literature.

DR. AARONN AVIT AJENG

Dr Aaronn Avit Ajeng is presently a postdoctoral research fellow in Plant Biotechnology and Biochemistry at the Centre for Research in Biotechnology for Agriculture (CEBAR), Universiti Malaya, where he utilizes his expertise on plants systems biology (metabolomics) to study abiotic stress response in Purslane. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Second Upper Class Honors in Biotechnology from the Institute of Biological Sciences, Universiti Malaya. He was subsequently awarded a PhD in Biology and Biochemistry from the same institution for his work on sustainable carbon-based technologies and their impact on plant metabolites and physiological responses. His doctoral research, BacChar™ is a patented and trademarked biofertilizer technology in Malaysia has received multiple recognitions, including the Malaysian Society of Soil Science (MSSS) Best PhD Thesis 2024, ITEX 2024 Gold and Special Award (Best Innovator), the Human Life Advancement Foundation (HLAF) Award, and he was awarded the Rising Star Scientist Award in 2022 from University of Nottingham for his early commitment and excellence in academic research. Dr. Ajeng also serves as AI Brand Ambassador, where he leverages his academic expertise to collaborate with leading Artificial Intelligence (AI) companies and startups. In this role, he showcases the integration of AI technologies within academic research, enhancing the visibility and application of AI tools in scientific communities.

ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. ROSILA BEE BINTI MOHD HUSSAIN

Rosila Bee Mohd Hussain is currently an Associate Prof. at the Department of Anthropology and Sociology, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. She completed her PhD from The University of Western Australia. Her areas of research interest include social inequality, identity, youth, cross-cultural study and contemporary social issues (social capital, disability studies, gender and social threats). Her expert opinions on various sociological issues have often been shared on various media platforms like newspapers, talk shows and radio interviews in Malaysia.  She has also completed and secured internal and external grants in the past years in relation to youth, social inequality and identity issues. Among others are UMRG (UM), FRGS (Malaysia), Ungku Aziz Centre for Development Studies and Japan Society for the Promotion Science (JSPS) as Research Collaborator. She has also published more than 50 journal articles, book chapters and proceedings from her research to share.  Her current research work centers on social threats, lifestyle and risk society.
