DR. ZAIRUL NISHAM BIN MUSA

Dr. Zairul Nisham Musa is a senior lecturer at the Department of Estate Management, University of Malaya. He completed his Ph.D. in the area of facilities management related to the management of shopping centers. His main research interest is in facilities management, property management, and maintenance management. Other research interests that he's involved in such housing affordability, community well-being, housing income index, and real estate auction. Outside of academia, he has been appointed by MQA as an evaluation panel and has responsibilities to evaluate real estate programs in other institutions.  He has also been appointed as UM’s internal auditor. He currently serves as an Editorial Member of the International Journal of Property Sciences. He teaches Building Technology, Fundamentals of Real Estate Valuation, Maintenance Management, Facilities Management, and Research Methodology. He is a co-writer and currently published a book titled Auctioneer As a Profession to Dispose of Real Estate in Malaysia, and Measurement of Facilities Management Performance in Ghana's Public Hospital.

ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. CHAW SOOK HUI

Dr. Chaw Sook Hui is an Associate Professor at the Department of Anaesthesiology, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, and a Consultant Anaesthesiologist specializing in Paediatric Anaesthesia. She holds a PhD in Anaesthesia and a Master’s degree in Anaesthesia from Universiti Malaya, as well as an MD in Medicine and Surgery from Universiti Sains Malaysia. Dr. Chaw completed her Clinical Fellowship in Paediatric Anaesthesia at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, further solidifying her expertise in paediatric care. Dr. Chaw is actively involved in clinical practice, teaching, and research. Her research interests primarily focus on population pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, perioperative pain management, and pediatric anesthesia. She has led and contributed to national and international research projects, including those funded by the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS), Merck Sharp & Dohme, and Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation. As the President of the Population Approach Group of Malaysia (PAGMAS) and a Board Director for the Asian Pharmacometrics Network, she has collaboration in pharmacometric research and its applications in anesthesiology. In addition to her research contributions, Dr. Chaw serves as the Deputy Editor of the Malaysian Journal of Anaesthesiology (2024-2026) and has published  in high-impact journals such as Clinical Pharmacokinetics, Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, and the European Journal of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics. Dr. Chaw is also engaged in medical education and academic leadership. She has served as an examiner for the Master of Anaesthesiology program, and a mentor for PhD and Master’s candidates. She is also involved in organizing major conferences such as the 20th ASPA Conference & 3rd Paediatric Anaesthesia Meeting of MSPA and various pharmacokinetics and pediatric anesthesia workshops.

DR. SAEEDA KHAN

I am a gender and development researcher with experience in qualitative research, policy analysis, and program evaluation across various academic and development contexts. My work centers on issues of gender-based violence, women’s empowerment, social inclusion, and intersectionality in South Asia, particularly among marginalized and vulnerable communities. My research focuses on a range of themes, including women’s agency and leadership, masculinity and patriarchy, post-conflict education, and gender mainstreaming in public policy and development programming. I have led and contributed to several multi-country and national-level research and evaluation projects in collaboration with international organizations. My expertise includes designing research tools, conducting fieldwork, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and producing policy reports and publications.
