The journey of his academic crossing the institutions such as Faculty Of Applied and Creative Arts, Center For Language Studies (Now Faculty of Language and Communication Studies), Nusantara Chair, Institute of East Asian Studies ( Now Institute of Borneo Studies) University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) untill Guest Scholar at Leiden University, Netherlands. He has been involved in the Malay Studies for more than 20 years. He graduated in Malay Studies (UM) for his doctorate and Malay Letters for his Master of Arts (UKM) and Bachelor of Arts Second Class Upper (UKM)(Malay Letters and minor in History). show more »Chee-Onn Chow earned his Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) and Master of Engineering Science degrees from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, in 1999 and 2001, respectively. In 2008, he completed his Doctorate in Engineering at Tokai University, Japan. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Malaya in 1999 and is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the same department. His research interests encompass wireless communications and networks, multimedia applications, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
