Dr. Zarina Zakaria is an Associate Professor at the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Business & Economics, University of Malaya. She received her PhD of Business & Management from the Nottingham University Business School, United Kingdom, in 2011. She obtained her Masters of Business Administration (Accountancy) from the University of Malaya, and her Bachelor in Accountancy from Cardiff Business School, United Kingdom. She is currently the Audit & Risk Management Committee of Pelaburan Mara Berhad and the Chairperson for the Board of Trustee of the Malaysian Accountancy Research and Education Foundation (MAREF) as well as a member of the Interpretations Committee for the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB). She is also a member of MICPA Education & Technical Committee since 2017. She is an associate member of MICPA, MIA and ACCA and during her tenure as the MIA Council, she sat in various Committees including MIA Disciplinary Committee, MIA Examination Committee and the MIA Audit & Risk Management Committee. She has published numerous articles and book chapters in her area of expertise including in the Accounting Forum and Management Decision. Her research interests include sustainability, accountability, and governance. show more »Dr. Chang Jindong is an Associate Professor at the School of Physical Education of Southwest University, Director of the Institute of Motor Quotient at Southwest University, and an Associate Researcher at the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Sciences of the Universiti Malaya. He served as a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and was recognized as the first sports science and technology expert in Chongqing. From 2015 to 2016, he was seconded to the Quality Monitoring Center for Basic Education of the Ministry of Education of China to contribute to the development of the National Physical Education and Health Monitoring and Evaluation Program for students in compulsory education. He currently serves as the deputy editor-in-chief of Chongqing Sports Science, as well as an editorial board member and academic editor of PLOS ONE. His research primarily focuses on movement measurement and evaluation (including children’s and adolescents’ motor quotient), motor skill learning and control, sports health and promotion, physical education curriculum and pedagogy, and the application of artificial intelligence and big data technology in physical education and public health.
show more »Dr. Ahmad Danial Azzahari is a chemist and academic specializing in polymer chemistry and materials science. He holds a BSc (Hons., 2010) in Applied Chemistry, an MSc in Polymer Chemistry (2012), and a PhD in Polymer Chemistry (2018), all from Universiti Malaya. Ahmad Danial's professional journey began with a brief stint at MIMOS Bhd in 2010, followed by several years as a tutor at Universiti Malaya, teaching undergraduate (2010-2013) and foundation (2018-2019) chemistry courses. He received the UM Bright Sparks scholarship program from 2014 to 2018, recognizing his academic excellence. In 2020, he joined the Centre for Foundation Studies in Science (PASUM) where he currently works as a senior lecturer for the Chemistry Division, while also being an active member of the Centre for Ionics Universiti Malaya (CIUM) at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, UM. His research focuses on materials science, polymer synthesis and characterization, chemometrics, polymer electrolytes and polymer composites. Alongside his academic pursuits, he enjoys art, miniature scale modeling, music, and reading.
