Sr Dr Nurshuhada Zainon is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Quantity Surveying. She holds the Bachelor of Quantity Surveying from UM in 2005 and was awarded the prestigious Anugerah Pelajaran Diraja. She earned her MSc in Construction Economics and Management from The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction, University College London in 2009 and her Doctoral in Construction IT Management from UM in 2013. Her career began with CIDB E-Construct Pvt Ltd (a subsidiary of the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), Malaysia) as a Junior Analyst and later as an IT Project Manager. Her involvement in developing the National e-Tendering Initiative (NeTI), which was an emerging discipline, sparked her research interest in digital construction transformation. Since joining UM in 2013, she has pursued her digital construction research, focusing on utilising Building Information Modelling (BIM) to achieve sustainable construction design and economy. In 2019, she was awarded the Young Excellent Researcher Award  (Humanity and Social Science) by the university. Her community engagement project, #MsiaEndsDengue won UM Best Community Engagement Project 2015. She was also the coordinator for the national-level DIY Made Simple Competition 2017-2020, one of UM's flagship community-based projects.  She was one of the advisors for UMCares (2018-2019) and a reviewer for multiple international journals and conference proceedings. She had spearheaded several BIM research and development MOUs between UM and industry key players such as CIDB and Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Malaysia and international university partners such as Manchester Metropolitan University. She is also actively involved with the Board of Quantity Surveyors of Malaysia (BQSM) and the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) as an organising committee for various conferences. In addition, she contributes her expertise through consultation with industry partners and industry-based workshops for BIM-related development in Malaysia. Sr Dr Nurshuhada is a Professional Quantity Surveyor of BQSM, a RISM member, and a Student Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), UK. She is always a passionate academician in producing the best out of her students and for the progress of UM, the Faculty of Built Environment, particularly the Department of Quantity Surveying.        

Dr. Wahib M. Atroosh, hailing from Yemen, is a senior lecturer in the Department of Parasitology at Universiti Malaya (UM), where he has been a faculty member since 2019. He began his academic journey in the same department, completing his Master's degree in 2012, and subsequently pursued a PhD, which he earned with Distinction in 2017. Dr. Wahib's research focuses primarily on Plasmodium falciparum, the parasite responsible for the majority of severe malaria cases and deaths in humans, known for its high mortality rate and increasing resistance to antimalarial drugs. His expertise includes monitoring antimalarial drug resistance through in vivo clinical trials and the application of molecular gene markers of drug resistance. In addition to his primary research on malaria, Dr. Wahib collaborates with local and international research teams, including partnerships with the Medical Research Center at Jazan University in Saudi Arabia, the School of Biological Science at Universiti Sains Malaysia, and the College of Health Sciences, Nigeria. These collaborations explore the epidemiology, genotyping, and molecular characterization of antimalarial drug resistance in P. falciparum isolates from both Saudi Arabia and Nigeria. Dr. Wahib's contributions to the field of parasitology extend to other areas, including research on leishmaniasis, intestinal protozoa, schistosomiasis, soil-transmitted helminths (STH), and parasite-related health education programs. Dr. Wahib has also been involved in developing a novel gene marker aimed at differentiating P. falciparum isolates, enhancing the correctness of the malaria therapeutic efficacy studies outcome. Throughout his career at UM, Dr. Wahib has successfully secured internal and external research grants and contributed to 44 publications in indexed journals with an h-index of 18 and a total of 1,615 citations. He was also awarded the Universiti Malaya Excellent Service Award (APC) for the year 2023. Dr. Wahib actively contributes to the academic community as a member of scientific and technical committees and serves as a judge at international conferences. He is also a peer reviewer for several esteemed journals, including Scientific Reports, PLoS ONE, PLoS Neglected Tropical Diseases, Parasites & Vectors, Malaria Journal, Transactions of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, BMC Medicine, Pathogens and Global Health, and Tropical Biomedicine. His involvement in these roles underscores his commitment to advancing research and fostering collaboration in the field of parasitology.

Amirul Mohamad Khairi bin Mannan is an accomplished educator and researcher, currently serving as a Foundation Lecturer at the Mathematics Division, Centre for Foundation Studies in Science, Universiti Malaya. Since 2012, he has been teaching a diverse range of pre-university mathematics courses, including Algebra, Calculus, Vector, Statistics, and Programming. Amirul holds a Degree in Electrical Engineering (2005), a Master’s in Computer Science (2013), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (2017) from Universiti Malaya, and he is presently pursuing a PhD in Education. His research focuses on metacognitive processes in calculus problem-solving, particularly through the integration of GeoGebra, a dynamic mathematics software. In addition to his teaching roles, Amirul has been recognized for his innovative approaches in education. He has received several prestigious awards, including finalist of the Anugerah Khas YB Menteri Pendidikan Tinggi: Blended Immersive Learning Experience 2025, Malaysia Toray Science Foundation - Science Education Award 2024, Gold Medal at the Pre-University Matriculation Innovation Competition 2023 and Universiti Malaya Excellent Awards 2023 for Innovative Alternative Assessment. His commitment to using technology to enhance learning has earned him recognition both nationally and internationally. Prior to his academic career, Amirul spent five years in industry, gaining expertise in PCB layout design and online marketing. This technical background complements his research interests in mathematics education, online learning, hybrid learning, and STEM education. Amirul is open to future collaborations in education and technology integration and welcomes opportunities to supervise and mentor students. He is passionate about guiding students and colleagues in their academic pursuits and research projects, and he remains committed to contributing to the advancement of educational practices.
