Dr. Siti Patonah binti Mohamad is a senior lecturer at the Applied Science with Islamic Studies Programme, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya. She holds a PhD (Humanities (Religion)) from Universiti Malaya and has a Master of Islamic Studies (MIs) from the same institution. She also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science with Islamic Studies (Biohealth) with Honors from Universiti Malaya. Dr. Siti Patonah's research interests primarily focus on neurodivergent individuals, specifically persons with autism (PWA), and the mental health of PWA's caretakers. Her research integrates Islamic principles and practices to better understand and support this marginalized group. For example, she studies the Quranic reading style of PWA and works on developing a biopsychosocialspiritual model of coping for Muslim parents of PWA to help them handle their stress. She is also interested in multidisciplinary research, particularly in areas such as Islam and Science, as well as Islamic psychology. Dr. Siti Patonah has contributed to the field by publishing several articles related to her studies and has received awards in seminars and conferences she has attended. In addition to her research activities, she is actively involved in teaching both foundation and degree-level students, sharing her expertise and knowledge in her areas of study. Dr. Siti Patonah's work demonstrates a commitment to bridging the gap between Islamic principles and scientific research to improve the lives of individuals with autism and their families.

Izlin is currently the Deputy Dean Research and Innovation at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Universiti Malaya. She was formerly the Head of Department of Finance and Banking, as well as the Director for the Centre of Business Excellence (CBE@UM) at the faculty. She has also served as the Deputy Director at the International Institute of Public Policy and Management (INPUMA). Prior to academia, she was a corporate analyst at a multinational corporation. Izlin graduated with a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, MSc in Investment Management from Bayes Business School, City, University of London, and PhD at Nottingham University Business School. She has published in indexed journals in areas such as international finance, microfinance, financial literacy, fintech and energy finance. She has also published several books including a financial literacy handbook for primary school students, as well as research-based books on consumer financial vulnerabilities, and Fintech in Malaysia. Izlin has been appointed as consultant for several projects such as on financial literacy for primary schools, economic enhancement programmes for public infrastructure projects and the global services sector. She has also led 9 out of 20 research projects with a total grant value of more than RM1.5 million. Her recent projects include financial literacy workshops for vulnerable groups including pensioners, migrant workers as well as students. She is also a corporate trainer for finance-related courses in corporate certification programmes. As for supervision, she has supervised more than 12 PhD and 50 Master students to completion.  

Norhafiza Muda is an Education Officer at Centre of Foundation Studies in Science, University of Malaya, where she is teaching in Physics subject since 2007. She graduated from the University of Malaya, with Master of Philosophy (Advanced Material) in 2011. She also completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Education at University of Malaya.
