Dr. Nurul Japar is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. She earned her Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence (Computer Vision) in 2022 and her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) in 2018, both from Universiti Malaya. Her expertise lies in computer vision and machine learning, particularly in object detection, visual recognition, and vision-language models. Dr. Ghazali’s career is marked by significant contributions to academia through teaching, research, and administration, as well as active engagement in social causes. Academic and Professional Background Dr. Ghazali’s academic journey is underpinned by rigorous training and extensive experience. She served as the Head of the Management Department at her faculty, demonstrating strong leadership and administrative capabilities. In addition, she is a member of several professional bodies, including the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Academy of Marketing, reflecting her commitment to ongoing professional development. Research Contributions With an output of over 130 scholarly publications, Dr. Ghazali’s research interests span consumer behaviour, sustainability, and cultural influences in marketing. She began her academic teaching career with courses such as Retailing and Promotional Management, and was among the first in the faculty to develop and teach Electronic Marketing in the early 2000s. show more »Brief CV: Professor Lee Way Seah MBBS (Malaya), MRCP (UK), FRCP (Edin), FRCPCH, M.D. (Malaya), FAMM, FAMS (Hons), FASc. Professor Way Seah Lee is Professor in Paediatrics and senior consultant paediatric gastroenterologist and hepatologist at Faculty of Medicine, University Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He received his medical education at the same university and graduated in 1988. He joined the Department of Paediatrics of his alma mater as a lecturer in 1996 and was promoted to professor in 2006. Professor Lee has published more than 120 scientific papers in local and international journals. Professor Lee has also edited four pediatric reference books; 'Handbook of Hospital Paediatrics', 'Handbook of Hospital Paediatrics, 2nd Edition'; ‘Textbook of Paediatrics and Child Health’, a popular undergraduate textbook; and most recently ‘Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition: A Survival Guide’. Professor Lee has trained many local and international fellows in paediatric gastroenterology and hepatology. He is an examiner for Master of Paediatrics and MRCPCH examination as well as external examiner for undergraduate examination to several Malaysian universities and the licentiate examination in Hong Kong. He was the President of College of Paediatrics, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia from 2006 to 2012, and the Head of Department of Paediatrics from 2011 to 2016. He is a Commonwealth Scholar and a Fulbright Scholar. In April 2016, Professor Lee was elected as a fellow of the Academy of Sciences of Malaysia, becoming the second paediatrician in Malaysia to be elected to this prestigious academy.
