Dr. Shahazwan bin Mat Yusoff is an esteemed academic and educator currently serving as a senior lecturer in the Department of Curriculum and Instructional Technology, Faculty of Education, University of Malaya. He holds a Ph.D. in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) from the University of Malaya, a Master of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and a Bachelor of Education (Hons.) Physical and Health Education from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Dr. Shahazwan has extensive experience in secondary education, having taught Physical Education and English at several secondary schools. His dedication to educational excellence is evident in his role as a national English SPM examiner and his involvement in various educational innovations and extracurricular activities. His research interests include assessment in education, curriculum development, inclusive education, physical and health education, and ESL. show more »Dr. Muhammad Hadi Bin Mustafa is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Quantity Surveying at the Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. With a robust academic background, Dr. Hadi earned his Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying from the International Islamic University Malaysia in 2013, followed by a Master’s Degree in Construction Project Management from the University of Manchester, UK, in 2014. He completed his Ph.D. in Built Environment at the International Islamic University Malaysia in 2023. Dr. Hadi is an enthusiastic researcher in the field of advanced construction technologies. His research interests include Historic Building Information Modelling (HBIM), Building Information Modelling (BIM), Cost Management, Big Data and Visualisation in Construction and Architecture, which includes preserving traditional and cultural values in the built environment and real estates. His current work emphasizes the integration of modern technological tools like laser scanning and BIM to enhance cost management, visualization, and the preservation of traditional and cultural values within the built environment. His research contributions include multiple published articles focusing on innovative construction management approaches, such as the utilization of 5D BIM for cost management, and the application of BIM in heritage building preservation. Notable publications include studies on green building effectiveness, supply management for industrialised building systems, and the development of BIM-backed decision support systems for heritage structures. He is also enthusiastic about the implementation of disruptive technologies in the built environment, aiming to drive innovation and enhance industry practices. Dr. Hadi has been actively involved in several national and private research projects, including initiatives on sustainable waste management for younger generations and also mediation and legal practices in the Malaysian quantity surveying practices. He has also contributed significantly to academia through his supervision of postgraduate students and teaching courses related to Information Technology Management for Projects, and various aspects of construction works measurement. In addition to his academic and research roles, Dr. Hadi has developed microcredential courses on BIM for historic buildings and the built environment, further extending his impact in professional and educational spheres. show more »Associate Profssor Ir. Dr. Mohd Sayuti Ab Karim is a distinguished Associate Professor at Universiti Malaya. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Computer Aided Design (CAD/CAM) Engineering from Universiti Malaya in 2006. Driven by a passion for advanced manufacturing, he pursued postgraduate studies in Engineering Science, focusing on Advanced Manufacturing Processes, and completed his PhD in 2013. Dr. Sayuti's research journey began in 2006 as a Research Assistant at the Advanced Manufacturing and Material Processing (AMMP) Centre. Over the years, he has led numerous projects related to design and manufacturing, significantly contributing to the field. His research has been widely recognized, with over 40 ISI-indexed papers and more than 10 patents showcasing his innovative work. In addition to his academic and research achievements, Dr. Sayuti excels in product design and development, employing a systematic approach to create innovative solutions. Among the products he has developed are the Automatic Thermocyclic Dipping Machine, CNC Lathe Machine, Automated Methadone Dispensing Machine, and an Alcohol Detection Device. He has also developed expertise in machine learning, having completed a specialized course in Python programming. Dr. Sayuti is proficient in various simulation activities, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) using ANSYS software. His technical expertise is highly valued, and he serves as a technical advisor for the Institute Latihan Perindustrian Ipoh and Vocational School Sungai Buloh. Furthermore, he has extensive experience in developing Occupational Frameworks for the Department of Skills and Development under the Ministry of Human Resources, particularly in the wood manufacturing industry. Beyond his academic and advisory roles, Dr. Sayuti is the General Manager at Zecttron Sdn Bhd, a spin-off company from Universiti Malaya. In this capacity, he oversees the company's strategic direction and operations, leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience to drive innovation and growth. Dr. Sayuti is a Chartered Engineer (UK) with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and has been a professional engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) since 2022. His professional affiliations and certifications underscore his commitment to maintaining high standards in engineering practice.
