DR. AINOL HANIZA BINTI KHERUL ANUWAR

Dr. Ainol Haniza Kherul Anuwar is a dental lecturer at Department of Community Oral Health & Clinical Prevention, Faculty of Dentistry. She had vast experience in Oral Health Care Service Delivery while working under the Oral Health Programme, Ministry of Health, Malaysia prior to her appointment as dental lecturer. She was also part of the Malaysian Health Technology Assessment Section, Ministry of Health, Malaysia where she actively involve in conducting systematic reviews and developing evidence-based clinical practice guidelines which was mainly used as evidence to inform the decision-making in the Ministry of Health, Malaysia. Her current research interests are Health Economic, Health Policy & Health System, as well as Evidence-based Dentistry.

IR. DR. SANTHERALEKA A/P RAMANATHAN

Dr. Santheraleka Ramanathan is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Universiti Malaya since 2025. She earned her Ph.D. in Nanobiotechnology Engineering in 2020 and gained research experience as a postdoctoral fellow at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia from 2021 to 2023. Dr. Santheraleka's research focuses on biosensors, nanomaterials, and nanodiagnostics, with an emphasis on molecular imprinting for environmental sustainability and biomedical applications. She specializes in synthesizing nanomaterials from environmental waste and integrating them into diagnostic platforms for detecting non-communicable disease biomarkers. Her expertise includes electrode fabrication, sensing platform surface chemistry, and analytical techniques. She actively develops molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP)-based sensors for environmental monitoring, targeting pollutants such as heavy metals, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals. As a passionate educator, Dr. Santheraleka is dedicated to inspiring lifelong learning by fostering a positive classroom environment and empowering the next generation of learners with wisdom toward knowledge and innovation.

DR. SUJAYA

Dr. Sujaya Singh received her undergraduate medical training at Calicut University, Kerala, India. Subsequently she moved to Malaysia and worked in various hospitals under Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) as House Officer and Medical Officer. After working for 5 years in KKM, she underwent Ophthalmology Specialist training at the University of Malaya. Subsequently she pursued sub specialization in Cornea and Anterior Segment at L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, India and also the Malaysian cornea fellowship programme withexit Certification in December 2015. She worked as a Cornea specialist at Hospital Sungai Buloh and currently practising at University of Malaya. Her particular interests are in management of cornea and anterior segment diseases.
