Wong Jee Keen Raymond received the Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (1st Class Honors) and Master of Electrical Engineering from Universiti Tenaga Nasional in 2010 and 2013 respectively. He obtained his PhD from Universiti Malaya in 2016. He worked as a Product Engineer at Motorola Solutions (2010-2011), Senior Lecturer (2016-2018), and Programme Leader (2019-2021) at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College. Since 2021, he has been working as a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Malaya. He is a Professional Engineer (PEng Mal), Chartered Engineer (CEng UK), Senior Member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), Member of IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology), Graduate Member of IEM (Institution of Engineers Malaysia), and Professional Technologist of MBOT (Malaysia Board of Technologist). He was the Honorary Secretary for IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society (DEIS) Malaysia since 2020. His main research interests include insulation condition monitoring, partial discharge phenomenon, machine learning/deep learning applications in fault location and classification.
show more »I, Dr. Kamal azrin Abdullah @ Kalai Arasu Muthusamy am an Associate Professor and Consultant Neurosurgeon at the University Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur. I earned my medical degree (MBBS) at The University Of Malaya in 1995. I completed my 4 years of General Surgical Training and started my Neurosurgical training at University Malaya Medical Centre in 2002. I underwent subspecialty training in Functional Neurosurgery and Movement Disorders under Professor Tipu Aziz (a world authority in the field of Functional Neurosurgery and Deep Brain Stimulation) at Functional Neurosurgery group, Oxford University. Under the guidance of Professor Tipu Aziz and Professor John Stein (a senior Neuroscientist at Oxford University and a world authority on Dyslexia), I received my DPhil (Oxon) from the University of Oxford and completed my training in Functional Neurosurgery in 2009. I am currently the Head of Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit & Functional Neurosurgery & Neuromodulation Unit at University Malaya Medical Centre. My Clinical Work focused mainly on Deep Brain Stimulation for Movement disorder such as Parkinson's Disease, dystonia and others. At University Malaya Medical Centre , we are the centre performing the highest number of DBS surgery Nationally & Regionally and are linked to global database. My research focused mainly on the advanced Parkinson s symptoms such as akinesia and the role of Pedunculopontine Nucleus in movement disorder. I also worked out the connectivity of the peduncolopontine connectivity in humans and non-human primates and their role in movement disorder. I have numerous publications in international medical journals mainly on the role of PPN in movement disorder as stated in my CV.

A collaborative leader in managing research grant with a proven track record of building strong relationships with students, colleagues, and stakeholders to promote a culture of continuous improvement and student success. Appointed as one of the taskforce members for Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) project to evaluate blended-learning approach in higher education institution specifically in Universiti Malaya. With a firm belief in the transformative power of education, eager to inspire and empower academicians to actively integrate technology into teaching activities to attract the next generation of learners to become critical thinkers, compassionate leaders, and lifelong learners. Besides, she also being appointed as Program Coordinator for Master in Education (Curriculum Development) program (2023-2025) to monitor and assist faculty in managing necessary matters.
