Dr Noorhidawati Abdullah is an Associate Professor at the Department of Library & Information Science in the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, Universiti Malaya. She is also the program Co-ordinator, Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from July 2016 to October 2021.
She graduated with a Bachelor in Information Technology (Science and Management System) in 2000 and a Master in Information Technology (Management of Information System) in 2003 both from National University of Malaysia. Dr Noorhidawati obtained her PhD in 2008 from the University of Strathclyde Glasgow.
Her research interests include digital library, digital literacy, information management, scholarly communication, and bibliometrics. She is at present the joint editorial board member of the Malaysian Journal ofLibrary & Information Science (indexed in WOS and SCOPUS) and editorial board member of Public Library Quarterly (indexed in Scopus).
She is an active author and reviewer of impact-factored journals in the area of Library & Information Science. She regularly serves as a scientific committee of International Conferences in Library & Information Science field.
