Biography | |
Siti Hafizah is an Associate Professor with the Department of Software Engineering, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. She received her Ph.D. in Software Verification and is leading a research team that specializes in Software Quality, Software Testing, and Affective Computing, where her team has published more than 100 papers in top peer-reviewed conferences and journals; SCOPUS and WoS. She is an Associate Editor of IET Software, Technical Committee for Malaysia Standard of Software & System Engineering (ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 7), Academic Programme Quality Manager, and Deputy Dean of the Institute for Advanced Studies. She has graduated with 13 PhD students and more than 20 Master students. Currently, she receives national and internal grants for machine and deep learning research on metadata-tagging for music repositories, evolutionary software development for Malaysia's aging & retirement survey system, and natural language processing on anxiety and depression emotions with the Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia. She was a recipient of the Newton Ungku Omar Institutional Linkage Grant for Big Data research on dengue prevention with the University of Nottingham, UK. Also, she is certified with professional training in iOS mobile app development, Project Management, and Computational Thinking. Her research interests are software efficiency, fault tolerance computing, and social media markers in mental healthcare. |
