Biography | |
Associate Professor Dr Siti Hafizah is an expert researcher in software engineering whose work bridges software reliability, cloud computing, and intelligent software applications. She received her Ph.D. in Software Verification and is leading a research team that specializes in Software Quality, Software Testing, and Affective Computing, where her team has published more than 100 papers in SCOPUS and WoS conferences and journals. She is a SIRIM Technical Committee for Malaysia Standard of Software & System Engineering (ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 7), Academic Programme Quality Manager, and currently holding a post as a Deputy Dean (Development) for the faculty. She has graduated with 15 PhD students and more than 20 Master students. She has received private, national and international grants for machine and deep learning research on metadata-tagging for music repositories, evolutionary software development for Malaysia's aging & retirement survey system, natural language processing on anxiety and depression emotions, dengue prevention, and STEM teaching and learning. Also, she is certified with professional training in iOS mobile app development, Project Management, and Computational Thinking. Her research interests are software efficiency, fault tolerance computing, and social media markers in mental healthcare. |
