ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. HAZREENA BINTI HUSSEIN

  Hazreena Hussein has over 25 years of progressive teaching and research experience at the Universiti Malaya. Her research interests are Person-Environment interactions, inclusive access to outdoor environments and Multisensory stimulation environments. Her doctoral work focuses on accessible design to the use of sensory gardens, particularly by children with special educational needs. She has been the Principal Investigator for several projects: 'Urban Park Characteristics in integrating mental health comorbid with non-communicable diseases through salivary cortisol pattern and spatial analysis' (2019-2022)', `Landscape Identity of Cameron Highlands Hill Station: Soundscape`(2013-2017) and `Enhancing wellbeing through recreational and sensory therapy in landscape design`(2014-2017). Hazreena has been granted seed money from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH) on `The Physiological Responses to Therapeutic Sensory Stimulation Garden: A pilot study (2016-2017). Her work was awarded the Best Paper at the AicE-Bs Conference in London (2013). Other recognitions awarded by UM, include The Distinguish Service Award (2012), PhD completion period less than 4 years (2010) and Excellent Service Award (2005, 2014 & 2020). Since 2012, she has served on the Editorial Board of Asian Journal of Environment-Behaviour Studies and the Journal of Asian Behavioural Studies. Having travelled extensively, she enjoys being in nature.

DR. SITI NOR FARHANA BINTI YUSUF

A passionate and committed senior lecturer with a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry, I possess a keen interest in Material Science, particularly focusing on the development and implementation of polymer electrolytes in innovative technologies like dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) and supercapacitors. I have authored a significant article titled 'From Crab Shell to Solar Cell: A Gel Polymer Electrolyte Based on N-Phthaloylchitosan and Its Application in Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells,' showcasing my expertise in the field. Additionally, I am deeply interested in the field of waste management, particularly exploring sustainable solutions for recycling and waste reduction. Drawing inspiration from the timeless wisdom of Jabir Ibn-Hayan, renowned as 'The Chemist,' I firmly uphold the value of practical work and experimentation as the cornerstone for attaining mastery in chemistry.

ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. NORRODZOH BINTI HJ SIREN

Norrodzoh Binti Hj Siren or the name in her writing, Nor Raudah Hj Siren was born in Sabak Bernam, Selangor. Starting school at  National Primary School, Batu 38, Sabak Bernam Selangor and continued to Secondary School, SAMT Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Batu 38 Sabak Bernam, Selangor. She attended  at the University of Malaya (1988) and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts (Writing) in 1992 from the Writing Department, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (1989-1992). Then obtain biasiswazah UM to pursue a Master of Arts (Media) in 1998.  As a lecturer in the Department of Da'wah and Human Development, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya since 1999. She was entrusted as Head of Department of Da'wah and Human Development in 2003- 2005, and got a Gift Training Study Leave for a Doctorate in the field of rhetoric writing (2005-2008). Was awarded his doctorate in 2010. She returned to hold the position as head of Department of Da'wah and Human Development (2011-2013). After finished doctorate, she continue the study and got a Bachelor's in Islamic Studies (Da'wah and Leadership) from National University of Malaysia in 2013. As a Lecturer she got three time for Excellent Employee Award and two time for Excellent Employee Certificate. She also wrote books, chapters of book, articles in journals etc. Her main areas of writing and research are media, education and da'wah.  In the social field, she have a lot of energy to contribute to the local community as a YDP PIBG National Primary School of Bukit Kuchai from 2002 to 2009. Involved in Alumni Media Studies, UM as Treasurer and Alumni ALSAMTiS (secondary School Alumni) as Vice President. Also involved in the Cooperative Seri Murni Puchong as a Member of the Board and now involved in Kelab Mantap Daie as a Secretary.
