PROF. DR. NOORHIDAWATI BINTI ABDULLAH

Noorhidawati Abdullah is Professor at the Department of Library and Information Science, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Universiti Malaya. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (Science and Management Systems, 2000) and a Master's Degree in Information Technology (Information Systems Management, 2003), both from the National University of Malaysia. She earned her PhD from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, in 2008. Since joining Universiti Malaya in 2008, Noorhidawati has excelled in both teaching and leadership roles. She served as Head of the Department of Library and Information Science (2017–2021) and held key positions such as Programme Coordinator for the Master of Information Technology (2008–2010) and the Master of Library and Information Science (2015–2021). She has taught a broad range of courses in information and library science, including databases, digital libraries, bibliometrics, scholarly publishing, research methodology, and data librarianship. Her research interests encompass Informetrics (including bibliometrics, scientometrics, and web analytics), and Digital Libraries (with a focus on tools, technologies, digital content, metadata, and usability) and scholarly communication. She is also an active researcher in Open Science, particularly in areas such as open access, open data, and research data management. As a certified trainer in Data Stewardship for Open Science, she has contributed significantly to capacity building in this field. In addition to her academic roles, Noorhidawati serves as the Chief Editor of the Malaysian Journal of Library and Information Science (MJLIS), which is indexed in Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), and other international indexing platforms. She is also an editorial board member of Public Library Quarterly. She is a member of the International Society for Scientometrics and Informetrics (ISSI) and the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T). Noorhidawati’s expertise has been nationally recognised, and since 2022, she has served as a subject matter expert in MyCite Scientific Journal Evaluation, underscoring her leadership in the evaluation and advancement of scholarly communication in Malaysia.

DR. TEOH HOOI SEE

Dr. Teoh Hooi See currently Senior lecturer at the Department of Chinese Studies, University of Malaya, having joined the University in 2011. Prior to this, she obtained her Bachelor and Master’s degrees from the University of Malaya and her PhD from the University of Peking, Beijing, China. She also was the recipient of the International Students Academic Award (first class) from the University of Peking in 2011. Dr. Teoh’s academic research focuses on classical Chinese drama, modern & contemporary Chinese literature and Mahua Literature. Her published research papers include “Private Assistant, Local Drama and Native Consciousness: The relationship between Yang Enshou's Assistant Career and His Concern in Drama” and “Traditional Women and Qing politics: the Image of Li Xiang Jun in Tao Huashan”. She has also published an anthology of poems entitled “Standing on the other side of forgotten” and a series of essays entitled “Xinshi Honghong”. She has won several literature awards, including Flower Trace (Hua Zhong) of the World Chinese Literature Award, Li He of the Chinese Prose Award, and Chao Qing Youth Literary Award. Currently, Dr. Teoh lectures on classical Chinese drama, modern Chinese literature, and Malaysian Chinese Literature.

DR. MOHAMAD HAZIM BIN MD HANIF

Hazim Hanif is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Software Engineering, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Universiti Malaya. He earned his Master of Computer Science (Research) - Information Security degree from Universiti Malaya in 2018 and his PhD in Computer Security and Artificial Intelligence from Imperial College London in 2023. His research interests focus on the analysis of the representation knowledge of source code and how it can enhance vulnerability detection models in identifying and localizing security vulnerabilities in source code. His published works and presentations have been featured across conferences and journals. He is also a core member of the Centre of Research for Cyber Security and Network (CSNET), Universiti Malaya. Additionally, he is a registered professional member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and a member of the ACM Special Interest Group on Security, Audit and Control (SIGSAC).
