DR. TEOH HOOI SEE

Dr. Teoh Hooi See currently Senior lecturer at the Department of Chinese Studies, University of Malaya, having joined the University in 2011. Prior to this, she obtained her Bachelor and Master’s degrees from the University of Malaya and her PhD from the University of Peking, Beijing, China. She also was the recipient of the International Students Academic Award (first class) from the University of Peking in 2011. Dr. Teoh’s academic research focuses on classical Chinese drama, modern & contemporary Chinese literature and Mahua Literature. Her published research papers include “Private Assistant, Local Drama and Native Consciousness: The relationship between Yang Enshou's Assistant Career and His Concern in Drama” and “Traditional Women and Qing politics: the Image of Li Xiang Jun in Tao Huashan”. She has also published an anthology of poems entitled “Standing on the other side of forgotten” and a series of essays entitled “Xinshi Honghong”. She has won several literature awards, including Flower Trace (Hua Zhong) of the World Chinese Literature Award, Li He of the Chinese Prose Award, and Chao Qing Youth Literary Award. Currently, Dr. Teoh lectures on classical Chinese drama, modern Chinese literature, and Malaysian Chinese Literature.

ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. SAFIAH BINTI OMAR

 An Academician at the Faculty of Business & Economics, Universiti Malaya.  My main research area is in Organizational Behavior. Specifically, my research areas are focusing on 'Factors in organization(s) that will increase and maintains individual well-being at the workplace'. My research areas cover workplace well-being, employee development, training and development, workplace positive psychology, and any other behavioral related studies in organizations including those at the strategic and corporate levels. The research requires consistent understanding of the current workforce issues, economics and financial conditions (macro & micro level), geo-economic levels, and to forecast future workforce strategy and demands, for both in Malaysia and at the international levels.  Currently I am focusing on (Neuro)Diversity Workforce and Inclusivity which is one of the important elements under United Nation's (UN) SDGs Goals.  Anyone who are interested and passionate with these research areas may join me as co-researcher or join as Ph.D candidate under my supervision. DR. LEE LIMI @ LIMI LEE

Born in a small town - Teluk Intan, Perak, Dr Limi Lee became a surgeon in 2013. She is a surgeon specialising in Vascular and Transplant Surgery. She underwent Vascular Surgery Fellowship in Malaysia and did further training at Monash Medical Centre, Australia. During her fellowship at Monash Medical Centre, she completed second fellowship in Renal and Pancreatic Transplant Surgery. She is also an academic surgeon with special interest in research on diabetic foot ulcer, venous thromboembolism prevention and dialysis access. She was one of the authors involved in the Asian venous thromboembolism prevention guidelines, which was published in 2012 and 2017.
