ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. NADHRATUL WARDAH BINTI HJ. SALMAN

Nadhratul Wardah Salman graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the International Islamic University Malaysia. She then completed a Master's in Sports Policy and a Master of Laws (LL.M). Driven by her curiosity about the dynamic relationship between sports and law, she pursued her Ph.D at Manchester Metropolitan University, focusing on the legal and safety issues surrounding children's sports. Her teaching and research interests include Sports Law, the Law of Torts, Sports Governance and Policy, and Human Rights. She is researching ways to combat match-fixing in sports and is particularly interested in the evolving legal context of the duty of care in sports. Over the past 20 years, Wardah has developed significant leadership skills. She has held various managerial positions, including Deputy Dean, Deputy Director, and Residential College Master. In addition, she has supervised and coordinated over 50 sports events and community engagement projects. Wardah is actively involved in fitness and recreational activities and has competed in numerous sports and martial arts tournaments for approximately 30 years. She represented Universiti Malaya in athletics from 2007 to 2024, with her most notable achievement being named 'UM Sportswoman of the Year' in 2010. She was a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Malaysian Hockey Confederation from 2009 to 2014. She served as a think tank member for the Institute for Youth Research Malaysia (IYRES) from 2012 to 2016. Currently, she is a member of the National Dispute Resolution Chamber for the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) for the term 2022-2025.

DR. FAKHRUR RAZI BIN MAAMOR

Dr. Fakhrur Razi Maamor holds a Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours) at Faculty of Art and Design, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam. He furthered his studies at the same university, obtaining a Master's degree in Arts and Design through a research mode. During this stage, he conducted research titled "Buah Buton at Luak Tanah Mengandung, Negeri Sembilan: The Interrelation of Cultural Context with the Adat Perpatih Community." His research focused on the aesthetic visual culture that aligns with the discipline of art. To ensure harmony within the context of Malay visual arts, he continued his research, incorporating philosophical aspects, and advanced to the Doctor of Philosophy level in the field of art at the Academy of Malay Studies, Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. He successfully completed his thesis titled "Buah Buton di Luak Tanah Mengandung, Negeri Sembilan: Hubung Kait Kosmologi dengan Kehidupan Masyarakat Adat Perpatih", achieving the status of Graduate on Time (G.O.T.). Currently, his involvement in fine arts and visual culture extends to various activities and research both domestically and internationally. Numerous writings focusing on visual arts have been published, reflecting contemporary relevance while remaining rooted in the foundational content of artistic creation. As such, he firmly believes that content and ideas must be aligned to develop a coherent artwork.

ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. ABU HANIFAH BIN HARIS

  DR. ABU HANIFAH HARIS is an Associate Professor in the Department of History, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He received his Bachelor of Education (History) from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Tanjong Malim, Perak in 2010, and PhD (fast track) from Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur in 2013 with a thesis entitled, "Pengaruh Mesir Terhadap Masyarakat Melayu, 1906-1970” (“The Egyptian Influence on the Malay Society, 1906-1970”). His areas of expertise are the history of the Middle East, and the history of Islam in Malaysia. Among his books is Pengaruh Mesir Terhadap Masyarakat Melayu, 1906-1970: Daripada al-Imam Sehingga Kebangkitan Semula Islam (The Egyptian Influence on the Malay Society: From al-Imam until the Islamic Resurgence, 1906-1970) (Kuala Lumpur: University of Malaya Press, 2019). His articles also have been published in several international journals such as British Journal of Middle Eastern Studies, Japanese Journal of Political Sciences, and al-Shajarah.
