DR. TAN WOEI LING

Dr. Tan Woei Ling is an academic and researcher affiliated with the University of Malaya (UM), where she serves as a senior lecturer in the Department of Nursing Science within the Faculty of Medicine. Her academic journey commenced with a Bachelor of Nursing Science (Hons) (Mal), Master of Nursing (Mal), followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing at University Putra Malaysia (UPM). Dr. Tan specialises in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Nursing.  Dr. Tan’s research interests are centered on clinical nursing, end-of-life care, health promotion, and patient care. Her work focuses on improving healthcare practices, particularly in the areas of nursing education, patient outcomes, and nursing interventions for chronic diseases. She has published numerous research papers in the different journals. In addition to her research, Dr. Tan is actively involved in mentoring students, guiding them in their academic and clinical journeys.

ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. LILY AZURA BINTI SHOAIB

Dr Lily Azura Shoaib is a head specialist and Associate Professor in Paediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics at the University of Malaya, Malaysia. She earned her Master of Clinical Dentistry in Paediatric Dentistry from the University of Edinburgh in 2008 and completed her Bachelor in Dental Surgery at Tokyo Medical and Dental University in 2000. Her research focuses on cariology, paediatric special care dentistry, oral health quality of life, and dental education, emphasising e-learning and instructional strategies. She is renowned for her paediatric dentistry expertise and commitment to improving dental education and patient care. As an educator, she mentors and guides aspiring dental professionals for the future of dentistry in Malaysia. Her contributions and dedication have earned her widespread respect and recognition in the dental community.

ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. AZMAWATY BINTI MOHAMAD NOR

A Senior Lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology and Counselling, Faculty of Education, Dr. Azmawaty Mohamad Nor registered as a licensed counsellor in 2011. Undergone training with the National Population and Family Development Board (NPFD), Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, her research were mostly on at-risk behaviours among adolescents and family. Heavily involved in drugs related research, she has completed : 1. the acceptance of the community towards the enforcement of the National Anti-Drugs Agency (PI – AADK Grant) and 2. the acceptance of the community towards Community Rehabilitation Program Development (CRPD) among former drug addicts (Co-researcher, AADK Grant). At present, she is currently involved in Developing a prevention model for elementary school children (PI-FRGS Grant). Recently, her team has completed developing a psychological inventory for MRSM students under the MARA Grant, three COVID-19 related research and currently developing a psychometric testing on e-learning among students in Malaysia and a psychometric testing on academic leadership. As an active researcher involving in numerous researches, she aspires to tap in the different area to broaden her horizon and enhance her quality of teaching and learning. She has also been invited to speak on issues on mental health and adjustments during the COVID-19 pandemic.
