Dr. Anis Rageh Al-Maleki is a senior lecturer (assistant professor) in the Department of Medical Microbiology, Faculty of Medicine at University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia. He received his PhD in Medical Microbiology from UM, and postdoctoral fellowship at Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Dentistry, University of Malaya, Malaysia. His research expertise lies in microbiology, immunology, integrated omics, bacterial pathogenesis, biomarker discovery, and genetic engineering for several pathogens and oral microbiota. He has published several research articles and served as Editorial Board Member; Clinical Pathology & Research Journal (CPRJ), Asian Council of Science Editors (ASCE), Frontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology Journal and Clinical Microbiology Journal, Professional Member; Engineering Research and Publications, Malaysian Society for Microbiology Member, Associate Member, Malaysian Society of Microbiology (MSM), & IFERP Professional Membership. Reviewer in many Journals. Dr. Anis has an internationally recognised record of exceptional and outstanding Research Expertise and high impact publications: Dr. Anis is internationally recognized for his exceptional achievements in omics studies and cancer-related infections. With a robust record of high-impact, peer-reviewed publications, his work is widely cited, demonstrating significant contributions to scientific knowledge and earning global validation.   Dr Wan Safwani Binti Wan Kamarul Zaman is currently a senior lecturer at the Department of Pharmaceutical Life Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Malaya. She received Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom in 2003. After which she returned to Malaysia to complete the pharmacy provisional training at the University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) from 2004 to 2005, as per requirement of the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia. She became a registered pharmacist in August 2005. In 2006, she received her MSc in Immunopharmacology, also from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom. In 2008, she was awarded the National Science Fellowship (NSF) from the Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation (MOSTI), Malaysia allowing her to pursue and complete her PhD in 2012 at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (National University of Malaysia). She was also awarded the Hadiah Khalid Kadir for best postgraduate student in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia during the graduation ceremony.   Dr Wan Safwani has contributed substantially in terms of publication and as a reviewer for various journals. Her research interest is in stem cells technology, regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. She has published more than 60 peer-reviewed articles including articles published in Scientific Reports, American Journal of Physiology-Heart and Circulatory Physiology and PLOS One. She currently has a h-index of 19 with more than 1000 citations. She also supervises postgraduate students, both PhDs and Masters working on various collaborative projects involving stem cell biology, sustainable materials for tissue engineering, non-invasive cellular monitoring system and machine learning application in stem cell research. She is a member of the Malaysian Pharmaceutical Society (MPS) and currently serves as the President of the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Society of Malaysia (TESMA). Outside of research and teaching, she is the co-Founder of the Let's Go to Mummies Lab program, which aims to promote STEM education to young children as part of community outreach program.    

Hasmahzaiti Omar has served as an Associate Professor at the Institute of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya since January 2014. She earned her PhD in Animal Conservation in 2013, following the completion of her BSc and MSc in Biological Conservation. Her research primarily focuses on the systematics and molecular evolution of Southeast Asian mammals, with a particular emphasis on small mammals. She has a keen interest in various aspects of animal studies, including systematics, taxonomy, biogeography, conservation, zoonotic diseases, pest control and management, genetics, ecology, and multidisciplinary research involving interactions between small terrestrial mammals and larger mammals. Hasmahzaiti actively collaborates with industries, the Wildlife Department of Malaysia, and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. She also maintains strong networks with international universities, research centers, and museums. She is a Committee Member of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) program, a member of the Laboratory Animal Science Association of Malaysia (LASAM), and a Committee Member of the Universiti Malaya Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (UM IACUC). She currently serves as the Coordinator of the Museum of Zoology at Universiti Malaya.
