Nik Elyna Myeda currently serves as the Director of the Academic Policy Division within the Academic Strategic Planning Department (ASPD) of Universiti Malaya (UM), where she plays a pivotal role in shaping the university's academic initiatives. She is also a senior lecturer and researcher at the Department of Building Surveying, Faculty of Built Environment, UM. Elyna holds a PhD in Facilities Management from University College London (2013) and both MSc in Building and Bachelor’s in Building Surveying from UM. Her research has been widely published in high-impact journals, and she has authored several books.  Elyna was also selected as the University Representative for the Asia Pacific Women in Leadership (APWiL) Stewardship Program (2023–2024), an initiative by the Asia Pacific Research Universities (APRU), where she enhanced her leadership skills and broadened her academic network. She is a recipient of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) - Dialogue on Innovative Higher Education Strategies (DIES) Program (2020), which has further strengthened her international academic connections. Elyna has led and collaborated on numerous research projects funded by international and national grants, including the Sumitomo Foundation (2024–2025), British Council Catalyst Grant (2022–2023), and University of Fukui Publicly Solicited Grant (2022–2023), driving advancements in Facilities Management practices. Her research outputs include publications in high-impact journals, contributions to special issues, and presentations at global conferences. She is an active member of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) and is certified as a BIMFM Master Trainer by CIDB Malaysia. A recipient of multiple accolades, including the UM Service Excellence Awards, Best Presenter and Best Paper Awards at international conferences, Elyna has also served as an invited speaker at academic and industry events. Beyond academia, she holds editorial roles, including Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Surveying, Construction & Property (2023–2026), and contributes as a Technical Committee Member for ISO Facilities Management Standards Malaysia. Elyna is committed to advancing education and research in the built environment.  

Dr. Mohamad Zaihan Bin Zailan is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Glami Lemi Biotechnology Research Centre, Universiti Malaya. Prior to this appointment, he served as a lecturer at the Faculty of Sustainable Agriculture, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) from 2016, where he specialized in animal nutrition with an emphasis on alternative feed resources for ruminants. He obtained his PhD in Animal Production from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2024, with research focused on the utilization of fungi-treated oil palm by-products as sustainable feed alternatives for dairy goats. His academic and research expertise centers on the optimization of agricultural by-products for ruminant nutrition, aimed at enhancing livestock productivity while supporting environmentally sustainable practices. Dr. Zaihan’s current research agenda emphasizes the identification and evaluation of practical, farmer-friendly feed ingredients that can be cultivated locally, alongside the development of simple yet nutritionally effective ration formulations for ruminants. His work contributes to advancing sustainable livestock systems, particularly within the context of Malaysia's agricultural landscape.

Dr Meshari Al-Daihani attained a B.A. in accounting at Kuwait University-College of Business Administration, a foundational degree that provided him with a strong understanding of financial principles, which he later applied to Islamic finance. He then pursued a master in Accounting at Al al-Bayt University – Jordan, and a Master's in Islamic Finance and Banking with high distinction from the recognised College of Business at the Northern University of Malaysia (UUM), an AACSB accredited with a ranking of 400 in QS 2024, 90th in Asia and 2nd in Malaysia (2 Master degrees). In addition, He has attained a PhD in Islamic Finance and Banking with high distinction from the recognised Academy of Islamic Studies at the University of Malaya (UM) with a ranking of 65 in QS 2024, 16th in Asia and 1st in Malaysia. As an accomplished and passionate academician. Dr. Al-Daihani has dedicated over five years to academic and research in Islamic finance-related disciplines. Dr Al-Daihani has obtained many professional certificates in Islamic Finance (Islamic Financial Planner (IFP) IBFIM.His professional certifications further underscore Dr. Al-Daihani's expertise in Islamic finance. He is a certified Shariah Adviser and Auditor (CSAA) from AAOIFI, a Vocational Master in Islamic Economics from EAIFE, and an Islamic Certified Trainer from the Islamic Economic Club-Kuwait University. His work, including publications in the Journal of Islamic Accounting and Business Research (Emerald), International Journal of Social Ecology and Sustainable Development (IGI Global Publishing), Sustainability (MDPI) and Computers in Human Behaviour Reports (Elsevier) (forthcoming), among others, have been well-received. He has also shared his insights as a speaker at many conferences, webinars, seminars and workshops, further amplifying the influence of his research.
