Dr. Norazlin has a diverse background in the unit trust industry, with experience in legal & compliance, marketing & business development, and project management. She holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the International Islamic University of Malaysia, a Master of Economics from the University of Malaya, and a PhD in Accounting & Finance from the University of Glasgow. Her doctoral research delved into Islamic finance, integrating elements of the Islamic capital market, political economy, social theories, and sentiment analysis.

Dr. Norazlin's current works reflect her profound interest in the intersections of finance, economics, and sustainability. She is also interested on the development of carbon markets and their role in achieving a carbon-neutral future. She welcomes PhD candidates who are keen to explore these areas alongside her.
