Dr. Julian Wong Joon Ip is a psychiatrist and medical lecturer with the Department of Psychological Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya. He graduated with Honours in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) (Hons) from Monash University and later obtained his Master of Psychological Medicine (MPsy.Med.) from Universiti Malaya. Dr. Wong is actively engaged in undergraduate and postgraduate education, clinical practice, and academic research. He serves as a practicing psychiatrist at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. His clinical interests include psychiatric comorbidities, with a particular emphasis on consultation-liaison psychiatry, community-based mental health services, and psychotherapy. He is currently part of both the consultation-liaison psychiatry team and the Community Mental Health Services (CMHS) at UMMC. Dr. Wong is a certified Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) clinician, having completed a training program by Dr. Gregg Jacobs (University of Massachusetts Medical School). He has also completed Pre-Core Training in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) under Dr. Samuel Cheng at Changi General Hospital and is embarking on a 3-year Core Training program in ISTDP as a subspecialty focus from 2026 to 2028. He is also a certified TMS clinician, having completed the International Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Certification Course in London, organised by the Academy of Brain Stimulation. Dr. Wong actively promotes mental health literacy and wellness in the community. He frequently speaks at public forums, conferences, and symposia (locally, regionally, and internationally) to discuss latest evidence based clinical practices, promote mental wellness and improve mental health literacy in the community.
show more »Dr. Siti Nadya binti Zynuddin is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Educational Management, Planning and Policy, Faculty of Education, Universiti Malaya. She holds a PhD in Education from Universiti Malaya, a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Her research interest focuses on educational planning and policy, school climate, student development, non-cognitive skills, educational leadership, and policy implementation. Dr. Nadya brings strong combined experience as an academic, policy practitioner, and school educator. Prior to her current academic role, she served as an Assistant Director in the Educational Planning and Research Division, Ministry of Education Malaysia, where she was involved in education planning, policy-related work, and research-informed decision-making. She also has practical school-level experience as a science teacher in secondary schools in Kuala Lumpur, giving her valuable insight into classroom realities, school management, and student learning needs. She has contributed to national education policy work, including the Pelan Pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia 2026–2035. She is actively involved as a researcher, postgraduate supervisor, reviewer, invited speaker, and facilitator at national and international levels.

Currently serving as a Lecturer at Pusat Asasi Sains Universiti Malaya (PASUM), he is responsible for delivering courses in Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Economics, and other core subjects across multiple campuses, including an offshore programme in Xi’an, China. He holds a Master of Philosophy (Management) by Research and a Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) from Multimedia University, Cyberjaya. His academic journey is marked by consistent excellence, having earned 11 Dean’s List Awards and maintained a CGPA of 3.78. His research interests lie in public sector financial reporting, particularly the transition to accrual-based accounting within Malaysian Federal Statutory Bodies. His scholarly work includes publications in WoS, Scopus- and ERA-indexed journals, along with contributions to academic book chapters and conferences. In addition to his academic achievements, he has contributed to various consultancy projects funded by government agencies, focusing on the financial and digital well-being of Malaysia's B40 communities post-pandemic. His leadership is evident from his involvement in organizing national-level student programs and volunteer projects, where he demonstrated excellent fundraising and project management skills. He combines academic rigour with a people-oriented teaching philosophy, promoting student engagement, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous improvement in education and research.
