Muhammad Hatta Roselee joined the Department of Geology, Faculty of Science, University of Malaya as Senior Lecturer in November 2020. He is also a certified professional geologist since 2015 under the Board of Geologists Malaysia.  His research focuses on the petrology, geochemistry and tectonic setting of the Sibumasu and Indochina terrane, particularly within the Southeast Asia geology. In  teaching area, he is mainly focused on teaching the 1st year and 2nd year students where he is responsible for developing fundamental geology knowledge and skills towards them. He is currently the representative of the research collaboration between Department of Geology, UM and the Institute of Geological Sciences (one of the branches of the Chinese Academy of Geological Science) where the main focus is to study the geological relationship of the tin ore formation and the host rock granitic rock. The duration of the research collaboration is 5 years starting from last April 2021. Prior in joining the University of Malaya, Hatta has worked as a research assistant and teaching as tutor in both University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur and the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi.

Ir. Ts. Dr. Jafferi Jamaludin received the B.Eng. degree from Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Putrajaya, Malaysia, and the M.Eng.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is currently a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Malaya Power Energy Dedicated Advanced Centre (UMPEDAC) and an Adjunct Faculty Member at Universitas Negeri Padang, Indonesia. He was a Visiting Lecturer at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University, Japan from October 2018 to September 2019. His fields of interest include power electronics and energy efficiency and management. He is a Professional Engineer registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), a Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council, UK, a Professional Technologist registered with Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) and an Associate Member of Malaysian Association of Registered Energy Managers and Energy Auditors (MAREMA). He also serves as the Permanent Member of Technical Committee on LVDC Supply, Storage and EV Charging under National Standard Committee Malaysia.  

Nader Ghaffari Khaligh received his Ph.D. in Organic chemistry from the University of Guilan, Iran, in 2013. Since 2015 he has worked as a researcher at the Nanotechnology & Catalysis Research Center, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. His publications, including papers, reviews, and mini-reviews, are focused on heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis, sustainable chemistry, green chemistry, energy, synthesis of heterocycles, and multi-task reagents. ‎ He has been elected as World's Top 2% Scientist Career-Long Citation ‎Impact and World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. He received a Chinese Chemical Letter Excellent Paper in 2017 and the Best Research Award in International Research Award on Oncology, Cancer Research in 2022, the Advanced Materials Award in 2024, and the Green Materials Prize in 2024. He is the executive editor, section editor, and associate editor of three international journals. He is a member of the editorial board of several international journals.
