ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. SITI NURKAMILLA BINTI RAMDZAN

Dr. Siti Nurkamilla Ramdzan is an Associate Professor and a Family Medicine Specialist at the Department of Primary Care Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya. She has a deep commitment to her patients in primary care. Her research interest is in respiratory health, women's and children's health, and implementation research with a particular focus on children with asthma. Obtained her MBBS at Universiti Malaya before pursuing clinical advanced studies in Family Medicine at the same university. Later, she attained PhD in Global Health from the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Dr Ramdzan is a passionate teacher, mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate trainees both in clinical and research. She is an active member of the academic community locally and internationally. Currently, she is the secretary of the Malaysian Primary Care Research Group. She has published in reputable journals, sharing insights from her research and clinical experiences. She is currently working to implement a national school-based asthma guideline in Malaysia. Dr Ramdzan envisions continued contributions to the field of primary care. Her mission is to create a lasting impact on both academic discourse and the well-being of local and global communities.

DR. FUNG HON NGEN

I am currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Science and Technology Studies, Faculty of Science, University Malaya; currently teaching Policy and Management of Sustainable Development, Sociology of Science and Research Methodology. My current research interests revolves around: Responsible Research and Innovation: Embedding Reflexivity and Social Desirability for more sustainable outcomes in Research and Innovation; Applied Scientometrics for Decision Making: Tracking and foresighting scientific and technological trends in Sustainable Development for Research Policy and Strategy; and, Science Communication: Studying Stakeholder Engagement in Science and Technology Roadmapping for Sustainable Development. My research expertise focuses on comparative case studies as well as secondary data analysis of policies, research strategies and innovation systems at the sectoral levels for Agriculture (rice, palm oil, etc.), Herbal Medicine, and Renewable Energy (hydrogen, solar, etc.). I have been involved in consultation projects such as the National Bibliometric Report 2015, and STI Indicators Report 2016. I was also the Principal Investigator for the FRGS project on "Feasibility of Smart Agriculture in ASEAN: Investigating Social Dimensions and Policy Mechanisms to Enhance Technology Adoption and Upgrading in the Rice Sector." My previous lecturing experience was in UOW Malaysia KDU University College where I was involved in leading Postgraduate by Research programmes and Research Management. Prior to my PhD, I was in Corporate Communications and Journalism specifically in the Pharma/Biotech sector, as well as in providing Analytics and Media Monitoring services at Meltwater News.

IR. DR. WONG JEE KEEN RAYMOND

Wong Jee Keen Raymond received the Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (1st Class Honors) and Master of Electrical Engineering from Universiti Tenaga Nasional in 2010 and 2013 respectively. He obtained his PhD from Universiti Malaya in 2016. He worked as a Product Engineer at Motorola Solutions (2010-2011), Senior Lecturer (2016-2018), and Programme Leader (2019-2021) at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College. Since 2021, he has been working as a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Malaya. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng UK), Professional Engineer (PEng BEM), Senior Member of IEEE, Member of IET, Member of IEM, and Professional Technologist of MBOT. He was the Honorary Secretary for IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society (DEIS) Malaysia from 2020-2023. His main research interests include insulation condition monitoring, partial discharge phenomenon, machine learning, and deep learning applications in fault location and classification. To date, he has secured over RM 1,192,024.28 in grant funding, where RM 685,740 of it as the Principal Investigator.
