Dr. Mohd Khairi bin Ismail is a respected Malaysian economist, researcher, and academic who currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Terengganu. With over 15 years of experience in higher education and research, Dr. Khairi has made significant contributions in the fields of development economics, environmental economics, and poverty studies. He is also a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Ungku Aziz Centre for Development Studies (UAC), University of Malaya—an institution known for championing inclusive and sustainable development research. A First-Class Honours graduate in Economics from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Dr. Khairi later earned his PhD in Environment and Development (Economics) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). His academic journey reflects a deep commitment to interdisciplinary research addressing socio-economic issues affecting the B40 community, urban poverty, and sustainable livelihoods. His scholarly work has been published in more than 60 journals, proceedings, and book chapters, with multiple publications indexed in Scopus and Web of Science (WoS). Dr. Khairi has received numerous recognitions and academic awards, including the best paper award and multiple gold medals for innovation in research and teaching. His policy-based research has received grants from national research bodies, especially in projects related to community well-being, Islamic social finance, and urban resilience. In addition, he is an editorial board member for SAGE Open and reviewer for several national and international journals. His expertise has also earned him frequent invitations to media appearances, both in print and broadcast. Dr. Khairi has been featured on RTM and RTM Radio, offering expert commentary on national issues such as the cost of living, national budget, SST vs GST, and inflation. He has also contributed opinion pieces and interviews to major newspapers including Berita Harian, Utusan Malaysia, Sinar Harian, and The Star. show more »Lip Yee Por is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. A Senior Member of IEEE, he is a recognized expert in security and machine learning. His research interests include AI, deep learning, support vector machines (SVM), IoT, authentication, computer vision, blockchain, cryptography, steganography, and watermarking. He has authored over 120 SCI/SCIE/SSCI-indexed journal papers and has secured more than RM 7 million in competitive research funding as Principal Investigator. Prof. Por’s impactful contributions have earned him numerous national and international awards, and he is consistently recognized as one of the top-rated lecturers at FCSIT. In addition to his research and teaching excellence, he serves as Associate Editor for Frontiers in Public Health, Frontiers in Computer Science, and the Malaysian Journal of Computer Science, as well as Guest Editor for Applied Sciences. He is also an Editorial Board Member for CMC–Computers, Materials & Continua and a member of the Editorial Review Board for Technology in Cancer Research & Treatment (TCRT), a SAGE journal. Prof. Por has held key leadership roles in national and international conferences as Program Chair, Technical Chair, and Local Chair, and serves as an external academic assessor for academic programs at TARUC, MMU, HELP, APU, and FIRST CITY UNIVERSITY COLLEGE. show more »Dr. Anas Hakimee is a Restorative Clinical Specialist and lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Malaya. He obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Universiti Malaya in 2014 and served with the Ministry of Health Malaysia until 2019. He subsequently completed his postgraduate training and was awarded a Master of Clinical Dentistry in Restorative Dentistry in 2023, also from Universiti Malaya, with clinical emphasis on Prosthodontics, Implantology, and Digital Dentistry workflows. Dr. Anas is actively involved in teaching and supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate dental students. He is a committed member of several esteemed professional organisations, including the International Association for Dental Research – Malaysia Section (IADR MALSEC), the International Team for Implantology (ITI), the Malaysian Association of Prosthodontics (MAP), and the Malaysian Dental Association (MDA). He also serves as one of the founding committee members of the Malaysian Dental Materials Society (MADEMS). His clinical interests centre around the integration of digital workflows in restorative dentistry and implantology. His research areas include Prosthodontics, Dental Materials, Digital Dentistry, Implantology, and Dental Traumatology. Currently, he is involved in a university-funded research project on dental trauma and supervises both undergraduate & postgraduate students in both clinical audit and research projects.
