ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. SUHAILI BIN SARIF

Dr. Suhaili Sarif is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Shariah and Management, Academy of Islamic Studies Universiti Malaya. He obtained his Bachelor Degree in Shariah (Bsh) in 1999 and Master in Business Administration (MBA) in 2002 both from Universiti Malaya. He then received his PhD in Islamic Studies (2014) from the University of Edinburgh UK. He specializes in Islamic Management, Islamic Wealth Management and Halal Management. He teaches both the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes covering many subjects within his related expertise. He has been researching on many topics related to the areas of Halal Industry, Zakat and poverty eradication, Mosque institution and Islamic Tourism Industry.

DR. MARINI NURBANUM BINTI MOHAMAD

DR. MARINI NURBANUM MOHAMAD is presently a senior lecturer in the Department of Decision Science at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Universiti Malaya. She obtained her PhD degree from Cranfield University, United Kingdom in the area of global supply chain management, focusing on framework development to improve global sourcing strategy implementation. She has a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Universiti Malaya. Throughout her academic career she has developed her research interests in the areas of supply chain management, global sourcing and operations management. She has published and presented her research work in various journals and conferences locally and internationally, including United Kingdom, New Zealand, Netherlands, and Spain. To date, she is also actively involved in consultancy projects with government agencies and private organisations.

ASSOCIATE PROF. IR. DR. TEOH WEY YANG

Wey Yang TEOH is Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Malaya (UM). He gained BE and PhD in Chemical Engineering from The University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. Prior to UM, he received his tenure as Associate Professor at the School of Energy and Environment, City University of Hong Kong, where he led the Clean Energy and Nanotechnology (CLEAN) Laboratory. His research is dedicated to the fundamentals of heterogeneous thermal- and photocatalysis, and particularly in solving various Energy and Environmentally-related problems. Among them, he developed advanced catalysts for solar hydrogen generation, reduction of carbon dioxide, biomass valorization, and the abatement of environmental micropollutants. He currently holds Honorary Associate Professorship at UNSW, Erskine Fellowship at the University of Canterbury and serves on the Innovation Advisory Board of HeiQ AG (a global leader in textile innovation and listed company on London Stock Exchange).
