Dr Ina Ismiarti Shariffuddin is Professor and Senior Consultant Anaesthesiologist at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya. She currently heads the Medical Education, Research and Development Unit in the same iinstituition. She obtained her MBChB from the University of Dundee, a Master of Anaesthesiology and a Master in Medical Education (Distinction) from Universiti Malaya, Fellowships in paediatric anaesthesia from KK Women's and Children's Hospital, Singapore, and certification in paediatric liver transplantation from Renji Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Ina is a strong advocate for perioperative patient blood management, sustainable anaesthesia, and advanced airway management and patient safety.  Her leadership includes presidencies of the Malaysian College, Society, and Paediatric Society of Anaesthesiologists. She is the current President Elect for the Asian Society of Paediatric Anaesthesiologists and a member of the task force appointed by WFSA to develop its inaugural Leadership Module. During COVID-19, she led the Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Department at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre. Her pioneering work in Basic Life Support education earned her the “Ronald Harden  Innovation in Medical Education” and “Rogayah Jaafar Innovation in Health Professions Education” Awards in 2024. She holds two patents and one copyright in Anaesthesia and Critical Care, underscoring her commitment to patient safety and innovation.She currently serves as Chief Editor of the Malaysian Journal of Anaesthesiology.

Dr. Erialdi Syahrial is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Universiti Malaya (UM), Malaysia. He served as a Visiting Researcher at Goddard School of Business and Economics, Weber State University in Utah, United States. As a Visiting Researcher, he presented his research at the Annual Conference of the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) in Florida, United States. Before transitioning to academia, Dr.Erialdi worked at PROTON, Malaysia’s first national car manufacturing company, where he held roles as Section Head, Lead Engineer, and Project Leader in the Research and Development (R&D) Department. Additionally, he has worked on after-sales service projects in the United Kingdom, Italy, Korea, and Germany. Dr.Erialdi’s work involved collaborating with CEOs, managing directors, customers, suppliers, and consultants from several countries. He is a member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and is recognized by the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) as a Professional Technologist (Ts.) until 2023. After his tenure at PROTON, Dr. Erialdi pursued a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Japan, earning his Doctoral degree in Engineering from Keio University in Yokohama. His teaching and research interests primarily focus on Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Operations Management, Project Management and Quality Management. In 2022, Dr. Erialdi served as a session chair at the Asia Pacific Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management. In 2024, he was appointed as a panel speaker and session chair at the International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM) in Dubai, UAE, as well as panel chair and session chair at the Asia Pacific Conference on IEOM in Tokyo, Japan. In 2024, he also chaired sessions at the International Conference on ICT Application Research and the Malaysia-Japan Visionaries Conference in Tokyo, Japan. In early 2025, he contributed to the 15th Annual IEOM Singapore as a technical committee member, session chair, and paper reviewer. Additionally, he met with the IEOM CEO and COO during IEOM Singapore to establish the IEOM Student Chapter at UM. Dr. Erialdi is currently an active project member at Universiti Malaya, working on a project funded by the Malaysian government. In Universiti Malaya, he has established initial connections with governments, universities, institutions, and agencies both nationally and internationally for potential future collaborations.

2 / 2 Yusniza Kamarulzaman is a Professor of Marketing and the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, and the Graduate School of Business, Universiti Malaya (UMGSB). Her current pursuits include serving as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Glasgow in the UK and a Visiting Professor at Universitas Indonesia, highlighting her vast knowledge and global recognition in marketing. With an illustrious career spanning over two decades, Professor Yusniza has held several leadership positions at the Universiti Malaya. She served as the Deputy Dean of Postgraduate from 2017 to 2022, the Head of the Marketing Department from 2015 to 2017, and the Director of the UM Centre of Innovation and Commercialisation from 2010 to 2014, among other posts. Having begun her career in 1996, Professor Yusniza has worked at various local and foreign higher education institutions, including serving as a Teaching Associate at Cardiff Business School, UK, from 2003 to 2006. She teaches a wide array of Marketing subjects, such as Marketing Management, Retailing, Branding, Product Development & Innovation, Digital Marketing, Global Marketing, and Marketing Research Methodology, to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Professor Yusniza has supervised and mentored over 50 master's degree graduates and produced a number of Ph.D. graduates. She has made significant contributions to the field of marketing through her numerous publications, books, book chapters, monographs, and course modules. Local higher education institutions have widely adopted her publications, including her books Principles of Marketing, Marketing Management, and Marketing for Hospitality and Tourism, which Oxford University Press published. Her primary research interests include digital marketing, tourism marketing, branding, and retailing. She is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK, and a member of the American Marketing Association, the British Academy of Management (BAM), and the Academy of Marketing (AM). She serves on the scientific committees of various prestigious international conferences and contributes as a reviewer for numerous international and local textbooks, journals, and conference papers. Professor Yusniza's contributions to academia have not gone unnoticed, as she has received numerous awards and accolades locally and internationally. In 2017, she was awarded the Excellence Service Service Medal (Pingat Perkhidmatan Cemerlang) by the Ministry of Higher Education and the Excellence Service Award from the University of Malaya in 2016, 2017, and 2020. Western Michigan University also awarded her the Visiting Scholar Collaborative Contributions Award, U.S., in 2015 and the Education Leadership Award at the 4th Asia's Best B-School Awards in 2013. In addition, Professor Yusniza serves as an appointed panel member for the Ministry of Higher Education for Government Grants (FRGS, PRGS, HiCOE), an internal auditor for Malaysia Research Assessment (MyRA), and a member of Malaysia Top Business School Malaysia (MyTBS). She is also an external programme assessor/advisory board of several private and public institutions, including UKM, UiTM, Multimedia University, University Technology Petronas, Lim Kok Wing University, Taylors University, Sunway University, UOW Malaysia KDU, QUES International University, Segi University, Wawasan University, and others.
