PROF. SR DR. ANUAR BIN ALIAS

Dr Sr Anuar Alias is a Professor at the Department of Estate Management, Faculty of Built Environment, University of Malaya. Prior to joining University Malaya, Anuar served at Valuation and Property Services Department, Ministry of Finance for about 11 years. He is a Registered Valuer, Property Manager and Estate Agent with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers Malaysia (BoVAEP) and Member of the Royal Institute of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) since 1997. Anuar has also served as an Expert Panel for the National Real Estate Research Coordinator (NAPREC) under the Ministry of Finance since 2008. He is serving in numerous capacities as a Board member of Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers Malaysia, chairman of Accreditation and Certification Committee of BoVAEP; external examiner, and reviewer for book and various journals, locally and internationally. His research interests also include real estate valuation and compensation, real estate development and property economics and management.

PROF. DR. KAMILA BINTI GHAZALI

Professor Dr. Kamila Ghazali is the Associate Vice-Chancellor (International) at University of Malaya. Since 2001, she has held several management roles at the faculty as well as university levels. She was previously the Director of International and Corporate Relations (ICR), Deputy Dean at the Institute of Graduate Studies, Chief Quality Auditor of UM, and Deputy Dean at the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics. As an academic, she belongs to the Department of English Language, Faculty of Languages and Linguistics. Her areas of academic expertise are critical discourse analysis and sociolinguistics with research on political discourse, media discourse, and ethnolinguistics where she delves into the language and culture of the orang asli (indigenous peoples). Her interest in indigenous languages has brought her to the longhouses in Sarawak where she conducted a preliminary sociolinguistic survey of the Tatau, Lugat, and Punan Ba to the jungles of Endau, Johor, to research on the Jakun community. Holding management roles had given rise to her interest in organizational discourse in which she had presented papers and published. Another area of research interest is in postgraduate research and training. Her later publications are on peer group learning in research writing.

ASSOCIATE PROF. TS. DR. MUMTAZ BEGUM BINTI PEER MUSTAFA

Dr. Mumtaz Begum Peer Mustafa received the BSc. and MSc. in Software Engineering from University Putra Malaysia (UPM) and University Malaya (UM) in 2002 and 2006 respectively, and the Ph.D. in Computer Science from University Malaya (UM) in 2012. She was a researcher for a High Impact Research project in the area of Assistive technologies for speech-impaired individuals. Dr. Mumtaz is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Software Engineering, University Malaya. Her research interests include Speech Enhancement methods for Automatic Speech Recognition systems, Speech Processing, Big Data Applications and Technologies and Speech Assistive tools for disabled individuals. She has published her work in many of prestigious international speech conferences and journals. Dr. Mumtaz is also a certified software tester from Malaysian Software Testing Board (MSTB), a member of International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) and Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE) from Malaysian Software Testing Board (MSTB), a member of International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB).
