Biography | |
Dr Sr Anuar Alias is a Professor at the Department of Estate Management, Faculty of Built Environment, University of Malaya. Prior to joining University Malaya, Anuar served at Valuation and Property Services Department, Ministry of Finance for about 11 years. He is a Registered Valuer, Property Manager and Estate Agent with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers Malaysia (BoVAEP) and Member of the Royal Institute of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) since 1997. Anuar has also served as an Expert Panel for the National Real Estate Research Coordinator (NAPREC) under the Ministry of Finance since 2008. He is serving in numerous capacities as a Board member of Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers Malaysia, chairman of Accreditation and Certification Committee of BoVAEP; external examiner, and reviewer for book and various journals, locally and internationally. His research interests also include real estate valuation and compensation, real estate development and property economics and management. |
