Dr Farzana Parveen Tajudeen is an Associate Professor of Information Systems in the Department of Decision Science, Faculty of Business and Economics, Universiti Malaya. Her academic work bridges business and technology, focusing on artificial intelligence, business analytics, digital transformation, and emerging technologies. Her publications are primarily indexed in Web of Science and Scopus. She has authored books on artificial intelligence in business, the digital transformation of Malaysian SMEs, niche tourism, and inclusive innovation. She has contributed to research projects supported by national and international grants, as well as projects undertaken for government agencies, including policy development for Malaysia’s Global Services sector and national digital literacy study.

She currently serves as the PhD Coordinator and an Associate Editor of the Asian Journal of Business and Accounting (AJBA). She has undertaken various university-level responsibilities, including roles as an Academic Advisor, a member of the Universiti Malaya Research Ethics Committee, and an E-learning Coordinator. She supervises PhD and master’s students whose research focuses on artificial intelligence, business analytics, fintech, cybersecurity, and related areas. Her contributions to teaching innovation and university service have been recognised through several awards, including the Innovative Horizon Accolade Award, Professional Innovator Award, Service Excellence Award, and Certificate of Excellent Service. Through international research collaborations, keynote engagements, and visiting scholar roles, she contributes to global academic discourse, interdisciplinary collaboration, and knowledge exchange across borders.
