I am a Ph.D. holder in Applied Statistics from the Faculty of Business & Economics, UM, specializing in Statistical Quality Control (SQC). With this expertise, I designed a course known as Statistical Methods for Quality Management for the Master Applied Statistics program, which I have taught for eight years. My research is rigorously interdisciplinary and primarily situated in the domains of survey research and statistical quality control. Although SQC was initially developed in the engineering field, it is also my interest to extend control chart applications in non-manufacturing like service sector and environmental, particularly, air quality assessment. Some of my significant research work: Achievement of The Malaysian Ambient Air Quality Standards and Environmental Sustainability, Retirement Financial Planning Among the Civil Servants, Household Income and Life Satisfaction of Single Mothers in Malaysia.
