Biography | |
DR ROHANA JANI is a Senior Research Fellow at Ungku Aziz Center for Development Studies, Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. She holds a BSc (Mathematics) from Ohio University, Athens, USA; MSc in Statistics from West Virginia University, USA and a Ph.D. in Statistics from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. She has more than two decades of teaching experience in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis. Her areas of expertise include Statistical Data Analysis using Multivariate Techniques, Quantitative Research Methodology, Market Research, Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) applications. Migration of Human Capital (Brain-Drain); Capacity Building Among Youths: Development of A Smoke-Free Generation Towards Smoke-Free Malaysia 2045; Border Security: border security along the eastern coastal areas of Kudat and Sandakan Sabah, Malaysia; the Financial Adequacy and Well-Being of University Malaya Students; Graduates Unemployment in Malaysia; The Social and Economic Impact of COVID-19 on deaf community in Malaysia; Unemployment and Psychosocial Wellbeing of Malaysian Graduates amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic; Career Aspirations in the Midst of Covid-19 and the Future of Work: From the Perspective of University Students in Malaysia; A Socio-Economic Impact Assessment of Water and Sanitation Needs Among Poor Households in Kelantan, are some of her current research projects.
