Dr. Nurul Husna Mansor is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Dakwah and Human Development, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya. She holds a Bachelor of Usuluddin (Hons) in Dakwah and Human Development and a Doctor of Philosophy (Human Development) from the University of Malaya. Her research interests focus on dakwah and human development, youth and family development, moral and behavioural issues, and religious-based approaches to social rehabilitation. Her scholarly work examines contemporary social challenges affecting adolescents, families, and vulnerable communities, with particular emphasis on behavioural change, resilience, moral development, and the application of Islamic values in intervention and rehabilitation programmes. As a principal investigator and researcher, Dr. Nurul Husna has been involved in various nationally funded research projects addressing issues such as pornography addiction, adolescent sexual misconduct, family support systems, psychosocial well-being, leadership development, and behavioural rehabilitation. Her current research explores the development of religious-based intervention models for behavioural control and positive youth development from Islamic perspectives. In addition to research, she actively contributes to academic writing, postgraduate supervision, curriculum development, and community engagement initiatives. Her work seeks to bridge the gap between Islamic scholarship and contemporary social realities by promoting evidence-based approaches in dakwah, education, and human development. Dr. Nurul Husna has presented her research and participated in academic and knowledge-sharing programmes at both national and international levels, including engagements in Egypt, Jordan, Indonesia, and Austria. Through her research and scholarly activities, she continues to contribute to the advancement of dakwah and human development studies, particularly in addressing contemporary social and moral challenges through Islamic approaches.
