Muhammad Faizal A. Ghani is an academic  at the Faculty of Education, Universiti Malaya, specializing in Educational Leadership, Educational Management and Administration, School Effectiveness, and Educational Finance. He holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and Principalship, an Executive Specialist qualification in Educational Administration from Indiana University, an MBA, an Advanced Diploma in Education (Accounting & Commerce), and a BBA. With more than two decades of experience in higher education, he has established a distinguished record in teaching, postgraduate supervision, research, scholarly publications, academic leadership, consultancy, and international collaboration. He has authored more than 200 scholarly publications and nine academic books, including his latest titles, School Leadership in the 21st Century and Organizational Development in Education: Theory, Leadership, Change, and Sustainable Improvement. His research has attracted competitive funding from university, government, and international agencies, including UMRG, FRGS, the Prime Minister’s Department of Malaysia, Beijing Institute of Technology, and Universitas Negeri Jakarta. He has held strategic leadership positions as Head of Department, Deputy Dean, Programme Coordinator, and Research Centre Director, while also serving internationally as a chief editor, reviewer, external examiner, academic advisor, and assessor. His extensive contributions to research, policy development, institutional transformation, professional consultancy, and community engagement continue to advance educational leadership and institutional excellence at both national and international levels.
