Muhammad Faizal A. Ghani is an academic and educational leader at the Faculty of Education, Universiti Malaya, specializing in Educational Leadership, with expertise in Educational Management and Administration. He holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and Principalship, an Executive Specialist in Educational Administration (Indiana University), an MBA, an Advanced Diploma in Education (Accounting & Commerce), and a BBA   With more than two decades of experience in higher education, he has established a distinguished record in research, scholarly publications, postgraduate supervision, academic leadership, teaching, consultancy, and international collaboration. He has authored more than 200 scholarly publications and nine academic books, including his latest titles, School Leadership in the 21st Century and Organizational Development in Education: Theory, Leadership, Change, and Sustainable Improvement. His research has attracted competitive funding from university, private, government, and international agencies, including the University of Malaya Research Grant (UMRG), the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS), the Prime Minister's Department (Malaysia), Beijing Institute of Technology (China), and Universitas Negeri Jakarta (Indonesia). He  has held strategic leadership positions, including Head of Department, Deputy Dean, Programme Coordinator, and Research Centre Director, while serving internationally as a chief editor, reviewer, external examiner, and academic advisor and assessor. His work advances educational leadership through impactful research, policy development, and institutional transformation, contributing to educational excellence at both national and international levels.
