ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. ROZAIMAH ZAINUDIN

Dr. Rozaimah Zainudin is an accomplished Associate Professor in the Department of Finance at the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Malaya. She obtained her Ph.D. in Finance from Universiti Malaya in 2011. She earned an MBA and a BBA (Finance) from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Malaysia.   Dr. Zainudin's expertise in corporate finance, international finance and risk management. Her research contributions are widely recognized, evident in her extensive publications in reputable journals such as the International Journal of Emerging Markets, Finance a Uver-Czech Journal of Economics and Finance, Borsa Istanbul Review, Journal of Business Ethics, and many others. She has also co-authored a book entitled “The Malaysian Banking Industry: Policies and Practices after the Asian Financial Crisis” published by Routledge in 2018 with the other two authors (BOOK : The Malaysian Banking Industry after the Asian Financial Crisis (Please click this link https://rdcu.be/4fwg). The book offers valuable insights into the evolution of policies, risk management, and bailout strategies. This comprehensive resource fills a crucial gap in the market, providing students, researchers, and practitioners with up-to-date knowledge on the dynamic landscape of Malaysian banking post-AFC.   Dr. Zainudin's research interests extend to national and international projects, where she has been involved in several research grants focusing on topics like Financial Technology Usage and Financial Wellbeing, Shariah-Compliant Firms, Corporate Fraud, Financial Literacy and Corporate ESG-related studies. She presented her work findings at various international conferences, further demonstrating her commitment to advancing knowledge in finance. DR. SU MOON TING

Dr. Moon Ting, Su, is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Software Engineering at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FCSIT), Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. She received her Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) and Master of Science (Computer Science) from University Putra Malaysia, and her Ph.D. (Computer Science) from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Prior to joining the education sector, she was an analyst programmer. She was the industrial training coordinator for FCSIT from 2014 to 2016, and for the Department of SE from 2016 to 2018. She is the Master of Software Engineering (Software Technology) Programme Coordinator and the Head of MSE(ST) Dissertation Title Vetting Committee since 2020. She has been or is a member of the curriculum committee and curriculum review committee for the Bachelor of Computer Science(SE) and MSE(ST). She is also a member of the Postgraduate Committee (2019 to present), Screening Committee for Academic Staff Appointment (2022 to present), and Committee for Interviewing International Student Applicants (2022). She is a member of the Research and Innovation in Software Engineering (RISE) Research Group of the department since 2016. She teaches programming and software design courses at the undergraduate level, ranging from Object-Oriented Programming (C++, Java), Data Structure (Java), Concept of Programming Languages, Advanced Programming (C#, .NET), Algorithm Analysis and Design, Software Architecture and Design Paradigms, Software Modelling, to Design Patterns. At the postgraduate level, she teaches/had taught Software Engineering courses such as Architecting Software Systems/Software Architecture, Software Metrics, and Software Engineering Process and Practice. Her research expertise lies in software architecture knowledge management, software architecture documentation, software architecture information seeking, chunking and foraging; empirical software engineering; object-oriented design, design patterns; web services, end-user web services composition, end-user software development; mining software repositories, Application Programming Interface (API) recommenders; CASE tool (programming environment); virtual reality for the Internet. She is interested in many aspects of software design (including software architecture), which include capturing and representing generic and project-specific software design knowledge and design intent, supporting efficient and effective retrieval and usage of this knowledge to assist software designers and end-users in producing good software design that factors in modularity, modifiability, reusability, extensibility, evolvability and adaptability to cater for increasingly complex software systems. Her ultimate goals are to support Do-It-Yourself (or end-user software development) as well as automated software design, development and evolution, and apprenticeship in software design. Her latest research also includes the design and development of ethical software, software engineering aspects of robotics (humanoids), automating SE tasks with foundation models (such as LLM, large vision model), knowledge graph in software engineering, and GraphRAG. ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. SALINAH BINTI JA'AFAR

Salinah Jaafar adalah pensyarah kanan berjawatan Profesor Madya di Akademi Pengajian Melayu. Memiliki ijazah Sarjana Muda (Bahasa Melayu, 1991), Sarjana (1998) dan Doktor Falsafah (2008) dalam bidang Leksikologi.  Beliau  telah dihantar  ke Pusat Penyelidikan Akademik untuk Bahasa Inggeris (CARE), di Jabatan Bahasa Inggeris di Universiti Birmingham selama 6 bulan  semasa pengajian peringkat Doktor Falsafah. Mantan Pengarah Akademi Pengajian Melayu (2020-2022), merupakan seorang pensyarah dan penceramah dalam bidang Kesantunan Berbahasa,  Linguistik, dan Terjemahan Bahasa Melayu yang banyak menghasilkan penulisan dan penyelidikan dalam bidang tersebut. Salinah Jaafar banyak menulis artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan dalam jurnal berindeks Scopus dan ISI, serta buku ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh penerbit MAPIM. Sangat dedikasi dalam pengajaran dan pendidikan , amat tekun dan berbangga dengan kerjaya yang diceburi serta sentiasa berusaha memberikan kualiti pengajaran dan perkongsian ilmu terbaik kepada masyarakat. Di samping tugas rutin, Salinah Jaafar juga terlibat dalam penyelidikan, penerbitan serta menyertai banyak seminar dan persidangan di dalam dan luar negara.  Berdasarkan pengalaman sebagai pentadbir dan ahli pengurusan universiti Malaya dan Akademi Pengajian Melayu,  beliau juga terlibat dalam membuat keputusan yang tepat ketika melatih dan mempromosikan staf, dan merangka kurikulum program. Selain itu, dia juga aktif dalam penyelidikan FRGS dalam bidang Pragmatik, Hubungan Etnik, Perkembangan Korpus Melayu, Linguistik Komputer  dan Terjemahan Hadis.  Beliau telah berkhidmat sebagai pensyarah di Universiti Malaya selama hampir 30 tahun dan sentiasa bersemangat dan penuh minat dan meningkatkan hasil kualiti kerjayanya. Salinah Jaafar is a senior lecturer holding the position of Associate Professor at the Academy of Malay Studies. She holds a Bachelor's degree (Malay Language, 1991), a Master's degree (1998), and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree (2008) in the field of Lexicology. She was sent to the Centre for Advanced Research in English (CARE) at the Department of English, University of Birmingham, for six months during her Ph.D. studies. A former Director of the Academy of Malay Studies (2020-2022), she is a lecturer and speaker in the fields of Politeness in Language, Linguistics, and Malay Language Translation, and has produced numerous writings and research in these areas. Salinah Jaafar has written many scholarly articles published in Scopus and ISI indexed journals, as well as academic books published by MAPIM. Highly dedicated to teaching and education, she is diligent and takes great pride in her career, consistently striving to provide the best quality teaching and knowledge-sharing to the community. In addition to her routine duties, Salinah Jaafar is also involved in research, publications, and participates in numerous seminars and conferences both domestically and internationally. Drawing from her experience as an administrator and management member at the University of Malaya and the Academy of Malay Studies, she is also involved in making crucial decisions when training and promoting staff, and in designing program curricula. Additionally, she is actively engaged in FRGS research in the fields of Pragmatics, Ethnic Relations, Malay Corpus Development, Computational Linguistics, and Hadith Translation. She has served as a lecturer at the University of Malaya for nearly 30 years and remains passionate and committed to enhancing the quality of her career outputs.
