DR. HAMIZAH BINTI HJ SA'AT

Dr. Hamizah Sa'at is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Surgery at Universiti Malaya, with expertise in medical decision-making, cancer genetics, and qualitative research. Her research focuses on improving early cancer diagnosis, cancer risk management, and shared decision-making (patient decision aids) in healthcare. Dr. Hamizah's work also addresses the behavioral/psychosocial aspects of diseases and implementation science, particularly in disease prevention and management. She developed a Patient Decision Aid (PDA) for Malaysian BRCA carriers, supporting informed decisions about ovarian cancer prevention, considering the local cultural context. Dr. Hamizah is a member of the International Shared Decision Making Society (ISDM) and the Qualitative Research Association of Malaysia (QRAM).

PROF. DR. NORLISAH BINTI MOHD RAMLI

  Dr. Norlisah is a Visiting Professor of Radiology, at the Department of Biomedical Imaging and is currently a consultant neuroradiologist at Subang Jaya Medical Centre. She graduated from the University of Malaya with an MBBS and obtained her FRCR in London. She has received her radiology training at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham, and has her neurointerventional training at Bicetre Hospital in Paris. Her main research contribution has been in neuroimaging. She was one of the recipients of the Merdeka Awards in 2008. Professor Dr Norlisah has published over 200 papers in peer-reviewed journals and oversees over 100 scientific papers. She has also organized and directed several workshops on neuroradiology imaging and serves as an expert team member for the IAEA.  She is currently the Past President of the College of Radiology, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia (COR), and  Malaysian Society of Radiologists (MyRad), and also currently serves as Executive Councilor of the Asian Oceanian Society of Radiology

ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. LAU POH LI

Poh Li Lau, PhD, is an associate professor in the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling, Faculty of Education at Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. She has a Ph.D. in Counseling (UM). She completed a 2-year post-doctoral scholarship in counseling psychology at Indiana University Bloomington, USA. Her research interests include career counseling, positive psychology, resilience, cross-cultural and well-being. Poh Li has been teaching subjects such as Career Counseling Practice and Career Development Theories at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels since 2011. She also supervises PhD students conducting research related to the topic of career development. She is responsible for teaching and learning, evaluation activities in the undergraduate and postgraduate counseling programs, and consultation projects. She is also a registered counselor in Malaysia. She publishes more than 50 publications (in books, chapters and journals), and also a reviewer for some well-known journals such as Career Development Quarterly, International Journal for Educational and Vocational Guidance, Journal of Career Development and British Journal of Guidance and Counselling. She received the 2025 APCDA Outstanding Educator of Career Professionals Award. She is also President elected for Asia Pacific Career Development Association (APCDA) for 2025
