Dr. Mohd Rizal Muwazir serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Islamic Management and Finance at the Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya. He earned his Ph.D. from Cardiff Business School, United Kingdom, in 2012, and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Science Research Methods from Cardiff University in 2007. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Shariah (Shariah & Management) in 2003 and his Master of Business Administration (Accounting) in 2006, both from Universiti Malaya. Dr. Mohd Rizal’s research interests encompass Islamic banking and finance, Shariah auditing and governance, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and financial sustainability. He currently serves as a Shariah Committee Member at OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad and Great Eastern Takaful Berhad. In addition, he is a research team member at the Gulf One Lab for Computational and Economic Research (GOLCER), Lancaster University Management School, United Kingdom. Beyond his academic and professional commitments, Dr. Mohd Rizal also serves on the editorial boards of several local and international journals, including the Online Journal of Islamic Management and Finance (Universiti Malaya), Jurnal Kinabalu (Universiti Malaysia Sabah), and El Muhasaba: Jurnal Akuntansi (Indonesia). He is furthermore a certified Halal Executive, accredited by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM).

  Cheah Chia Wei graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She then worked as a dental officer in the Ministry of Health, before joining the Faculty of Dentistry. There, she underwent specialist training in Periodontology and became a lecturer, teaching general dentists and specialists in Periodontology. She has a PhD related to oral microbial profiling using 16S rRNA gene sequencing in relation to the inflammatory status of rheumatoid arthritis subjects with periodontitis. Currently, Cheah Chia Wei is the postgraduate coordinator for Master of Oral Sciences (Periodontology) program, and also heads the Clinical Craniofacial Dental Research Group in the Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Malaya. She is also the treasurer for The Malaysian Society of Oral Microbiologists and Oral Immunologists. Her research interests include extraction socket ridge preservation, periodontal/bone regenerative material for implantology, and oral microbiology influencing periodontal health and systemic health. She has published her work in peer-reviewed journals and has presented it both locally and abroad. Cheah Chia Wei also serves as a reviewer for peer-reviewed journals in her area of expertise.  

Norrodzoh Binti Hj Siren or the name in her writing, Nor Raudah Hj Siren was born in Sabak Bernam, Selangor. Starting school at  National Primary School, Batu 38, Sabak Bernam Selangor and continued to Secondary School, SAMT Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Batu 38 Sabak Bernam, Selangor. She attended  at the University of Malaya (1988) and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts (Writing) in 1992 from the Writing Department, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (1989-1992). Then obtain biasiswazah UM to pursue a Master of Arts (Media) in 1998.  As a lecturer in the Department of Da'wah and Human Development, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya since 1999. She was entrusted as Head of Department of Da'wah and Human Development in 2003- 2005, and got a Gift Training Study Leave for a Doctorate in the field of rhetoric writing (2005-2008). Was awarded his doctorate in 2010. She returned to hold the position as head of Department of Da'wah and Human Development (2011-2013). After finished doctorate, she continue the study and got a Bachelor's in Islamic Studies (Da'wah and Leadership) from National University of Malaysia in 2013. As a Lecturer she got three time for Excellent Employee Award and two time for Excellent Employee Certificate. She also wrote books, chapters of book, articles in journals etc. Her main areas of writing and research are media, education and da'wah.  In the social field, she have a lot of energy to contribute to the local community as a YDP PIBG National Primary School of Bukit Kuchai from 2002 to 2009. Involved in Alumni Media Studies, UM as Treasurer and Alumni ALSAMTiS (secondary School Alumni) as Vice President. Also involved in the Cooperative Seri Murni Puchong as a Member of the Board and now involved in Kelab Mantap Daie as a Secretary.
