PROF. DR. MAYA DAVID NEE KHEMLANI

Professor Dr. Maya Khemlani David (Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, University of Malaya) received the Linguapax Award in 2007 and   is an Honorary Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, United Kingdom and an Honorary Member of the Foundation of Endangered Languages. As a sociolinguist, Dr. David has a special interest in discourse analysis, languages in Malaysian minority communities, and the role of language in establishing and maintaining national unity within and across cultures. She is a Visiting Scholar, College for Women and also consultant (ELT) for Kinnaird College, both in Lahore, Pakistan. She also is Hon. Academic Consultant, London College of Clinical Hypnosis. DR. NURUL LIYANA BINTI MOHD KAMIL

Nurul Liyana Mohd KAMIL is a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour, Faculty of Business and Economics, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia.She is currently a Postdoctoral Visiting Fellow at the Department of Management, the London School of Economics and Political Sciences in the United Kingdom. She holds a PhD in Human Resource Management from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Master of Business Administration from Universiti Teknologi MARA, and Bachelor of Business Administration (with Honours) in Human Resource Management from Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia. Her primary research interests include leadership, work engagement, employees' well-being and work performance.  She presently serves as the Associate Editor for Institute and Economies Journal and the Membership Officer for the Asia Pacific Academy for Psychosocial Factors at Work (www.apapfaw.org). She was awarded an ERASMUS+ grant and worked as a Visiting Lecturer at Vytautas Magnus University in Lithuania as part of the Staff Mobility for Teaching Programme. Her most recent articles have appeared in Web of Science and Scopus-indexed journals such as the Journal of Social Service Research, the Journal of Human Behaviour in the Social Environment, PLOS One, Problems and Perspectives in Management, the International Journal of Public Administration, and a few more. DR. ANG PEI SOO

Pei Soo ANG (PhD, Macq.) is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Languages & Linguistics, Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. She was the Deputy Dean of Higher Degree (2022-2024) and Visiting Faculty at Universitas Negeri Yogjakarta (2022-2024). Her areas of research interest include disability and health discourses, critical disability studies, critical discourse studies, social semiotics and visual communication. Her current research work centers on characterizing disability and health discourses as represented in the Malaysian media, employing a critical semiotic theoretical approach and a multi-perspectival methodology.
