ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. RAFIZA BINTI ABDUL RAZAK

  Associate Prof. Dr Rafiza Abdul Razak graduated with a doctoral degree in Instructional Technology from the International Islamic University of Malaysia. An alumnus of the Universiti Malaya, Malaysia's leading university, she graduated with a Masters of Education (Educational Technology) and Bachelor of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language (B.EdTESL) from the National University of Malaysia.    She received the award for the highest number of  PhD Graduate On Time (GOT) in 2024 having 10 GOTs. Total GOT under her supervision is 22  out of 46 Graduated PhD students. 50% of her PhD students are Graduate On Time.  She was the Head of Department of Curriculum and Instructional Technology (CITeD), Faculty of Education from August 2017 till August 2021.  An innovative leader  who creatively rebrand the department to uplift and boost the departments’ wellbeing.  Her interest in frugal  innovation and creativity inspires her to design and develop several facilities at the Faculty of Education.  The Instructional Technology Production-based Learning Studio (InTechPro) was initiated to empower students and clients to create digital production content / e-learning materials for teaching and learning. Inventors Hub is a place for inventors, makers and entrepreneurs to collaborate and innovate.  Instructional Technology Hub (InTecH) is in progress of becoming the hub for professional development.  Her active marketing strategies for the department has contributed to the growing number of students and networking collaborations at the national and international levels.  She initiated industrial collaboration activities with Microsoft thus awarded 32 pre-service teachers with Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer on top of that 17 of them Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert. Financially the department managed to gain its highest achievement.  Thus, she initiated the Curriculum and Instructional Technology Department Research Grant Funding which awarded 10 research grants projects for members of the department.  Associate Prof. Dr Rafiza actively organized international and national seminars. She organized  the International Summit of Innovations and Design Exposition (InSIDE) which showcased innovations from primary till tertiary education and also involved industries. She also initiated several  MoAs at the national and international level. Her innovations awarded in patents, copyrights and trademarks accumulated to 81 registered products.   She completed an international research grant funded by Association of Commonwealth Universities focusing on International Innovative Educator Network Program: Microsoft Educator Peer Coaching Universiti Malaya - South Eastern University Of Sri Lanka. She led the project successfully which involved undergraduates and postgraduates students from Asian universities : Universiti Malaya, Malaysia and Southern University of Sri Lanka. She also led the research project with Universitas Jambi Indonesia which also involved pre-service teachers.   She also published in high impact journals; WoS and Scopus. She is currently working with international collaborators in book publication. Despite academic institutions, her network of collaboration encompasses Ministry of Health. She co-joint in design and development of modules projects and also training. She collaborated with Content Capital Company for sabbatical attachment beginning from 1st December, 2021 to 31 September, 2022. Numerous activities pertaining to training of teacher educators, pre-service teachers and in-service teachers have been considered as part of the collaborative activities. Despite, the company also encourages research and publications  activities to further implies high impact outcome and results.  Her industrial engagement and expert collaboration also include organizations such as the Division of Allied Health Sciences (Ministry of Health), National Academy of Arts and Culture (Ministry of Tourism & Culture), Centre for Instructor and Advanced Skill Training (Ministry of Human Resources). She was awarded with prestigious award nationally and internationally. Microsoft has warded her the Microsoft Master Trainer award. She was also awarded the Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert. This commemorates her active involvement in educating teachers in utilizing technological pedagogical knowledge. She was also awarded the Fellowship in Aquaculture Curriculum Development from Universitas Airlangga Indonesia. Consultation services and Professional Development Projects were part of her contributions. Assoc. Prof. Dr Rafiza Abdul Razak was selected as one of the Successful People in Malaysia, with her profile set to appear in 2022 as part of the British Media Publishing House.  Her active participation in various activities keeps her motivated in the work that she loves most.

DR. DALILAWATI ZAINAL

Dalilawati Zainal serves as a senior lecturer in the Accounting Department within the Faculty of Business and Economics at Universiti Malaya. Currently, she holds the position of programme coordinator for the Master of Accounting (MAcc) programme and serves as the course coordinator for Student Holistic Empowerment (SHE) under the Cluster of Global Issues and Community Sustainability. She earned her Ph.D. in Accounting from Universiti Malaya (UM), a Master's Degree in Accounting from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Hons.) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Her research interests encompass environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, sustainability reporting, corporate governance, information technology, and financial reporting.

ASSOCIATE PROF. IR. DR. RAHIZAR BIN RAMLI

RAHIZAR RAMLI is an Associate Professor, currently serving the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Universiti Malaya. He received his B.Sc. (Mechanical) at the University of Hartford, U.S.A. in 1992. Since then, he worked as a Technical Service engineer in the area of vibration, and condition monitoring throughout Southeast Asia. He joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Malaya and was awarded with Masters (M.Eng.Sc.) degree in 1999 specializing in Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) for automotive applications. In 2007, he obtained his Ph.D., at the School of Mechanical Engineering, University of Leeds, United Kingdom specializing in computational mechanics involving vehicle dynamic modelling and simulation, semi-active control systems, and durability analysis for advanced vehicle suspension systems. His current research interests include experimental and computational mechanics focusing on vehicle dynamics and safety, vibration and acoustics, condition monitoring, and structural dynamics. He has produced a significant number of technical reports and has published more than 70 journal articles in the related area. He has produced a significant number of technical reports and has published more than 60 journal articles in the related area. He has supervised a total of 31 postgraduates, in which 26 (12 Ph.D. and 14 Masters) have graduated, whilst 5 postgraduates (3 Ph.D. and 2 Masters) are in progress. He is a registered Professional Engineer (Board of Engineers Malaysia), and the Lead Trainer for the Vibration Practitioner/Specialist Certification Programmes Based on ISO18436. He is also the steering committee member for the Malaysian Structural Integrity Society (MSIS). He received more than RM2 millions (USD 450,000.00) of research grants from various sources (internal, external, industries, and international) as a Project Leader. He has received several awards (national and international), and patents for his research innovations.  He is currently appointed as the national panel for grant evaluation at the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT), and for the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI).
