Nor Azlin Mat Radi is a Research Officer at the Universiti Malaya with over 15 years of experience in research management, community engagement, and research impact. She began her career in 2009 at the Research Cluster Office, where she specialized in research governance and the management of internal research grants. Her responsibilities included grant monitoring, project coordination, compliance with research governance standards, and ensuring effective utilization and reporting of research funding across various research entities within the university. In 2018, she joined the UM Community Engagement Centre (UMCares), where she played a key role in leading and supporting community engagement initiatives involving government agencies, schools, industries, NGOs, and international collaborators. Her work focuses on strengthening university-community partnerships and advancing research-driven initiatives that generate meaningful societal benefits. She is particularly passionate about research engagement and impact assessment, especially in evaluating how university initiatives contribute to community development and well-being. Her contributions to community-focused initiatives have also been recognized through media features, including an interview on Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) for the programme "DIY Made Simple", which promotes practical and creative learning among schoolchildren. Currently, Nor Azlin continues her service at Institute of Ocean and Earth Sciences (IOES), Universiti Malaya, where she supports research, engagement, and impact-related initiatives while contributing to the university’s mission of advancing knowledge and creating positive societal impact through research and collaboration. |
