Biography | |
Sr Dr Ainoriza is currently the Head of Department of Real Estate at the Faculty of Built Environment, Universiti Malaya. Dr Ainoriza is a Registered Valuer, Estate Agent and Property Manager with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers (BOVAEP), Malaysia. She completed her PhD in the area of sustainability and responsible property investment at Kingston University of London. In the past, she has completed national studies on elderly housing, Housing-Income Index©, and financing issues for first-time home buyers. Her current research focus is on multigenerational housing and housing pathways for vulnerable groups including migrants. She has been active as consultant for private developers and government agencies. Currently, she leads the Retirement Village Development Studies for Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan (KPKT). She previously served as an Editorial Member of the Journal of Design and the Built Environment and currently serving the Journal of Project Management Practice and SN Social Sciences. She teaches Corporate Real Estate, Valuation, and Property Finance & Investment to both undergraduates and postgraduates in UM. She has been invited as plenary speaker, forum panellist at national & international conferences. She has also been appointed as UM internal auditor and program assessor. In 2017, she was selected as one of the Youth Experts in the TN50 Circles of the Future (Living & Well-being). Most recently, she was appointed as the Reference Expert for the Institute of Youth Research (IYRES), Kementerian Belia dan Sukan, Board of Trustee of Aubrey Barker Fund (UK) and Executive Board Member for the ASEAN Valuers Association (AVA) Malaysia. Dr Ainoriza also serves the BOVAEP in various roles as TPC examiner and committee member. |
