BIOGRAPHY

Dr Sr Ainoriza is currently the Head of Department of Real Estate at the Faculty of Built Environment, Universiti Malaya. Dr Ainoriza is a Registered Valuer, Estate Agent and Property Manager with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers, Malaysia. She completed her PhD in the area of sustainability and responsible property investment at Kingston University of London. In the past, she has completed national studies on elderly housing, Housing-Income Index©, and financing issues for first-time home buyers. Her current research focus is on multigenerational housing and housing pathways for vulnerable groups including migrants. Outside of academia, she has acted as a consultant for private developers and government agencies. She previously served as an Editorial Member of the Journal of Design and the Built Environment and currently serving the Journal of Project Management Practice and SN Social Sciences.  She teaches Corporate Real Estate, Valuation, and Property Finance & Investment to both undergraduates and postgraduates in UM. She has been invited as speaker, forum panellist at national conferences and as guest lecturer at other local universities. She has also been appointed as UM internal auditor and program assessor. In 2017, she was selected as of the Youth Experts in the TN50 Circles of the Future (Living & Well-being). Most recently, she was appointed as the Reference Expert for the Institute of Youth Research (IYRES), Kementerian Belia dan Sukan, Board of Trustee of Aubrey Barker Fund (UK) and Executive Board Member for the ASEAN Valuers Association (AVA) Malaysia.
