Biography | |
Dr. Chen Chee Dhang is currently serving as Senior Research Officer in EntomoBio Research Lab, Universiti Malaya. Dr. Chen is an active member of the Malaysian Society of Parasitology and Tropical Medicine (MSPTM) and he was the Society's Past President (2022 - 2024). In addition, Dr. Chen also served as President of the Universiti Malaya Administrator Association (known as Persatuan Pegawai Tadbir dan Ikhtisas, PEKERTI)(2021 - 2023). Currently, he serve as Secretary of the Malaysian University Research Officer Society (MROS)(2024 - 2026). In the research arena, Dr. Chen is an Entomologist with expertise in Medical and Forensic Entomology. He has contributed extensively to the field through research on Vector Ecology, Bionomic and Control on mosquitoes and other disease-carrying insects, as well as Insecticide Resistance. Currently, he work extends beyond academia, contributing to public health awareness through outreach programs such as nationwide dengue awareness programmes. |
