Biography | |
Dr Amirah Shazana Binti Magli is a researcher and consultant dedicated to advancing financial well-being, literacy and digital inclusion. Her work focuses on how behavioural insights and emerging technologies such as AI and FinTech can support household resilience and inclusive growth. She has joined several national studies on financial empowerment and digital transformation for low-income and youth communities, in collaboration with ministries including MOSTI, MITI and the Ministry of Digital. Beyond Malaysia, she works closely with Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Indonesia, on comparative research exploring FinTech adoption and financial resilience across ASEAN contexts. With a foundation in Family Economics and Management, Dr Amirah is deeply committed to translating research into real social impact. She contributes actively through financial literacy initiatives, community workshops and policy dialogues. Guided by a belief in empowerment through knowledge, her work seeks to build a more financially resilient and digitally inclusive society. |
