Dr Amirah Shazana Binti Magli is an interdisciplinary researcher specialising in behavioural financial inclusion, with research interests spanning financial literacy, financial well-being, household economic resilience and AI-driven FinTech adoption in emerging economies. Her work explores how behavioural, psychological and technological dynamics shape financial decision-making, digital financial participation and inclusive economic transformation among low-income and vulnerable communities. Her broader scholarly interests include digital financial literacy, consumer financial behaviour and AI-enabled financial ecosystems, particularly within rapidly evolving digital societies. She is also involved in interdisciplinary research initiatives related to sustainable development, inclusive innovation and digital resilience, including collaborative projects linked to circular economy and community sustainability agendas. Integrating behavioural economics with policy-oriented social science research, her current work contributes to contemporary discussions on financial vulnerability, digital inclusion and equitable economic development within the evolving digital economy.
