Biography | |
Dr. Noorasyikin Shamsuddin has been serving as a dedicated pharmacy lecturer in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacy Practice, University of Malaya (UM), since 2005. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacy from Universiti Sains Malaysia and earned her PhD in Pharmacy from Universiti Teknologi MARA. Dr. Noorasyikin’s research focuses on the safe use of herbal supplements, optimizing pharmacotherapy in the geriatric population, and advancing pharmacy practice. Her work bridges the gap between evidence-based medicine and practical applications, reflecting her commitment to improving patient care and pharmacy education. In addition to her teaching and research roles, Dr. Noorasyikin is currently the Program Coordinator for the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons.) program at UM.
