Mozhgan Samzadeh is currently affiliated with the Department of Building Surveying, Faculty of Built Environment, Universiti Malaya. She holds a PhD in Architecture and Building (Sustainable Design) from Universiti Malaya and a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering (Hons). Her research primarily focuses on advancing sustainability in the built environment through energy-efficient design, carbon reduction strategies, and the application of life cycle assessment in evaluating building performance. Mozhgan’s work extends to green building practices in retrofitting projects, emphasizing the use of benchmarking and rating tools to improve environmental performance and support sustainable development goals. With over a decade of combined academic and professional experience, she integrates practical architectural design expertise with research-driven approaches. Mozhgan is a certified Green Building Index Facilitator (GBIF) and member of the Malaysia Green Building Council (MGBC), committed to promoting sustainable and climate-responsive practices in the built environment.

Dr Norhidayah Mohd Taufek is a senior lecturer at the Institute of Biological Sciences (ISB), Faculty ofScience, Universiti Malaya (UM). She obtained her PhD from ISB, UM in 2017 with specialisation inaquaculture nutrition research. She is a researcher with a demonstrated history of working in theaquaculture field on fish nutrition, reproduction endocrinology and aquaculture feed technology.Her current research interests include the development of sustainable solutions for animal feedincluding aquatic animals and poultry. Special focus is given towards utilization of local renewableresources such as insects meal including black soldier fly larvae and crickets as well as mushroom by-products and underutilized crops. She is also actively working with the industries to promote the use of black soldier fly asprotein source to produce cost-effective and Halal feed as well as for the implementation of circularbioeconomic purposes.

Dr. Nurul Japar is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. She earned her Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence (Computer Vision) in 2022 and her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) in 2018, both from Universiti Malaya. Her expertise lies in computer vision and machine learning, particularly in object detection, visual recognition, and vision-language models. She also serves as the Head of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Training and Competency Division at the Centre for Integral Learning (CITRA), Universiti Malaya, where she leads initiatives to enhance academic excellence and professional competency. Dr. Nurul is a member of IEEE Young Professionals, IEEE Women in Engineering, IEEE Signal Processing Society, and an IEEE CertifAIEd Authorized Assessor. Her work advances responsible and impactful AI practices and global collaboration.
