Siti Zaidah Zainuddin is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English Language. Her primary research interests lie in discourse studies, particularly genre analysis in both written and spoken academic discourse and corpus linguistics. In the field of language learning, she works on and teacher-learner interaction. Her publications address various topics on academic discourse practices including language and rhetorical strategies in oral defense and thesis writing by postgraduate students and teacher agency. Zaidah holds several research grants focusing on genre studies in academic and legal discourses and teacher’s agency in language classrooms. She teaches both the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. In addition to teaching and research, Zaidah has served as a UG pram coordinator, Industrial Training coordinator for the English Language Department and the coordinator and consultant for evaluator various language programs with private organisations. 

Shangeetha Rajah Kumaran is a Senior lecturer at the Department of English Language, Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, Universiti Malaya (UM). Her main areas of research interest are the sociolinguistic aspects of language use in literary texts, culture and society, language maintenance and shift, as well as diasporic writings of the Malaysian community. Her current research work centres on translanguaging practices used in the education field, as well as the visibility of languages in public places (linguistic landscape).

Dr. Ahmad Shamsuri Muhamad is a Senior lecturer at the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling, Faculty of Education, University of Malaya. as counsellor educator and registered counselor with the Malaysian Board of Counsellors, his Specialization  mainly in rehabilitation counselling for persons with disabilities. His research interest include but not limited to mental health and well-being of Persons with Disabilities (PWDS), career counselling and inclusive education for PWDs. he also actively involved with non-government organization of/for persons with disabilities in Malaysia and certified trainer for Disability Equality Training by Social Welfare Department (JKM) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Beside written various articles in academic journals, he also conducted many motivational talk and training for diverse populations locally and internationally.
